Beautiful, Cozy Condo with large private deck!

Cozy condo on Washington Street, directly across the street from the Southern Mansion. Our condo occupies the entire 3rd (top) floor, and part of the second floor. Enjoy the large, private deck for lounging, sunbathing, an outdoor dinner or just to enjoy the cool summer breeze at night! This deck is private to our unit. There are two other smaller private decks, one overlooking Washington Street, and the other on the side of the building. These all add to the uniqueness of the condo, and it's quite nice to be able to enjoy being outside, while still being at home!

The master bedroom is located on the second floor and is attached to the deck overlooking Washington Street. This bedroom has a King bed. There is also a full bathroom on the second floor.

The third floor has a large, open area with a full kitchen, living area and a cozy dining area which has a small deck just outside. This deck is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. The kitchen area was completely remodeled in 2022 with new granite countertops and brand new appliances. If you like to cook, the new induction range and stainless steel cookware is excellent! The large deck is also located on this level.

There are two bedrooms on the 3rd floor and another full bathroom. The bedrooms are both small but quite cozy. One has a twin bed, and the other has two twin beds which can be pushed together to make a "king" bed. There is a sleeper couch in the living area which has a queen bed and can accommodate two people.

Our property is located around 2 blocks from the Washington Street Mall, and around 5 blocks from the beach. If you need any groceries or supplies, there is an Acme supermarket less than two blocks away and a Swain's Ace Hardware within walking distance. The location is perfect to enjoy the wonderful things Cape May has to offer, all within walking distance from the condo!

There is a washer and dryer next to the kitchen on the third floor. Our unit has two private, off-street (sequential) parking spots in the rear of the building. There are outdoor showers, which are shared with the other units. There is also a shared grill on the ground floor.

Guests bring their own linens and towels (there is one king bed, three twin beds and a queen sleeper couch). Cleaning fee is included in the rate. The wifi is excellent and the fastest Comcast offers (around 400 Mbps) so no worries with internet connection or speed.

Great fall weekend! Especially loved the location and large 4th floor deck. Well appointed kitchen and washer and dryer a real plus. Home is older and needs a little TLC, but very functional. Would definitely rent again! Thanks, Greg!

Second time staying here. It's a great location, clean with huge deck and lovely covered balcony. Lots of stairs but not a problem for us. Love it here

Our overall experience was “good.” The location was ideal for our needs with easy access to the Washington St. mall and walking distance to the beach. The deck was a nice space for having a meal or just hanging out. We felt that the property could be “great” with a little TLC as it was in need of a deep cleaning and some new carpeting. There were also some concerns as navigating the tricky stairs, both inside and out, was made more challenging due to some of the lighting being out, some loose boards and unmarked transitions. Growing up in Cape May I appreciate the quirkiness of these homes, but again, this one might need a little attention to ensure that everyone’s “good” stay ends up being “great.”

Outdoor space was great and property was walkable to everything. Host very responsive. Clean and updated. Only mild negative was the amount of stairs but not really an issue for our family. Would definitely stay there again

The house was beautiful and we had a wonderful time! Communication was excellent! As others have stated, if stairs are a challenge, this is not the rental for you! Perfect location - we didn't drive the whole week. Walked everywhere!

The property was very well maintained and clean. The space was cozy yet spacious and very comfortable. Great private rooftop deck where i would have my morning coffee and sunbathe before the rest of the crew woke up. Excellent location close to everything. Very short walk to the beach (less than 10 mins) and 2 blocks from the Washington Street Mall and Acme supermarket. The property owner was always very friendly and quick to respond to emails prior to the rental and responded quickly to texts during our stay. There is an amazing restaurant "The Washington Inn" at the end of the block that you must try. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Cape May.

Greg's place is perfect! Awesome location!

This property is perfect if you're active and ready to explore! Greg's VRBO is on the top floor of a beautiful Victorian two blocks from Washington Mall in Cape May. This is a hike up many stairs to the top floor, but if you are capable of the climb, it is soooooo worth it. The private rooftop deck alone is enough to lure you for vacation time! The place was clean and in order for us to "move in" and have this be our central location. Ten minute walk to the beach at the Convention Center. Seven minute walk to Cape May's Finest Mini-Golf, two minutes to Acme. Easy walk to The Washington Inn and Elaine's. Nearby the fire station and Cape May Fire Fighter's Museum and the Southern Mansion. You can't find a more centrally located property! Great communication and completely accommodating! We were so grateful to find and book Greg's place...fantastic vacation!

Cozy Condo

Our family of five booked this condo to attend a wedding. What sold me on this property was the deck and it delivered. Climbing the stairs was an initial shock but nothing we couldn’t handle & well worth it for the breeze & view. We opted for deck lounging for soaking up the sun instead of going to the beach for $10 a day (beach badges/chairs are not provided with rental). The deck rope lights weren’t working at night but we were fortunate that there was plenty of moonlight during the gorgeous Strawberry Moon weekend. The beds were comfy & showers were fine. The AC’s in each bedroom allowed everyone to set their our temps and we all slept really well. We do our own cooking and we’re disappointed to hear there was no outdoor BBQ grill. We had to skillet cook our dinner which was a bit challenging. The exhaust fan worked hard and well. There’s hardly any working space so prep as much as you can at home. Coffee machine worked well and we challenged the Ninja blender for morning smoothies which worked fine. The Smart TV is high quality and we brought our Roku & game system which entertained all. All in all, it was a great stay. Location is perfect & parking is adequate for 2 cars.

Lovely condo centrally located near the shops and many restaurants. It was the perfect location for what we were looking for on this trip. The large deck is amazing and would be a huge benefit in the warmer weather. There are many stairs to climb. It’s a good cardio workout but was challenging for my 85 year old mother. She knew in advance about the stairs so I give her credit for taking the challenge. No issues getting in touch with the owner. He is very prompt.

This old house has a lot going for it. Recently renovated dining/living/kitchen area had most amenities that a group would need. If you prefer to use a kettle, bring your own. Also, be sure not to forget towels and linens. There are plenty of pillows, shams, and blankets, though. Most pillows seemed to be king size, for what it's worth. Beds were comfortable. I would like to see a few windows replaced next time there is a renovation because we either couldn't open them to get fresh air or they would whistle and clank around in the wind because they were old and rotted. For those who are light sleepers, we had a couple of challenges that we had to work through on our own. If you hear a loud banging on a windy evening, I'll save you some time and tell you to check the lid of the storage bin on the deck. That only took a few hours of lost sleep to resolve. The unit we stayed in has two entrances so if you have a family member who is uncomfortable with heights, there is another way in. Showers are nice with hot water and sufficient water pressure. The location is pretty impressive. Glad for the off-street parking. Also close to the fire station so you can be in-the-know when Cape May Fire Department has an active call. All-in-all, it was cozy for three of us but could be a challenge for more than three in the living area. The deck is quite nice.

Great week in Cape May!

Our family had an amazing week in Cape May! Our stay at the condo was great. The location near the beach & mall was convenient because we were able to walk everywhere. We spent so much time on the large deck-mornings with coffee, afternoons with snacks and after dinner with drinks. I loved the decor & the condo was well stocked with necessities. The beds were comfortable and the outside shower so refreshing. Greg was so helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!!

We loved the decks and porches. Homey and Comfortable, nice amenities, Stairs may be overwhelming for older guests or if you have trouble climbing lots of stairs. Would recommend or stay again. Thanks for the lovely anniversary weekend.

Perfect getaway

My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary without the kids but we would come back with the kids as well. There was plenty of space, bedrooms and bathrooms for a family (really it was too much space for just us but the location was too good). The views were great. We will definitely be back. The host was easy to contact and responded quickly. Overall it was a fantastic weekend getaway.

Cozy Cape May retreat

We had a wonderful time staying here! Nice decorations and well furnished. Wonderful views from all of the patios and balconies! Greg was always responsive to communication and nice to deal with. Would stay there again!

Great Location in the Best Seaside Town Ever.

Great location 2 blocks from the Washington Mall and 6-7 blocks from the beach. The house is quaint and clean with a large rooftop deck to enjoy and we did just that. Greg the host/owner is spot on with communication and everything worked great. You need to be a stair climber with the entrance stairs going up 3 platform levels. Quiet inside and out. It’s Cape May- a piece of heaven. Greg- great job and great place.

Great rooftop deck!

Greg was an excellent communicator and quickly responded to all my questions. Location is close to the beach and shops and is on a beautiful street. The deck really enlarged the social space and made for a great spot for lounging, dining, and star gazing.
