Get ready to have the time of your life at this updated getaway! Featuring brand new laminate floors in the bedroom and living room and improved kitchen appliances, you will have no trouble slipping right into vacation mode. This 7th floor Gulf-front vacation rental includes patio doors in the living room leading to a private balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. Other features of this vacation rental include a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher, crockpot and Instant Pot, along with all the dishes, pots and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The bathroom includes a tub and a vanity, light fixture and cabinets. The bedroom and the living room have TVs and DVD players. Relax and Enjoy Island Echos charm.

Things to Know
Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Good room, great view

The view is spectacular, beach service is great, easy access to beach, the room could have a few more amenities (no backing sheets or oven mits. Also, the Vacasa support was awesome, however sense they are a 3rd party they are only a middle man and have no ability to negotiate and will not budge on check in/outs. Bed and shower were great.

The view from this condo patio 10/10! We saw dolphins all 5 days from this 7th floor unit and even saw them some days on the beach. The patio furniture was nice and sturdy. We had breakfast and coffee every morning out there and watched the sunsets every evening. The location of this unit (Okaloosa Island) is excellent and there was not a crowd at the beginning of August on the beach. The beach service (1 umbrella and 2 chairs) were definitely a perk. The only problem we found is that under the kitchen sink it was wet. Possibly a slow leak. Definitely would book here again. Great location/value for the price point.

Great stay!

The room was so clean and stocked!! It did have a few kinks though. Only two eyes on the stove worked and issues with water under tile in bathroom other then that it was perfect! We stay at island echos every year and will continue

Great getaway

The building is managed well. Clean facility and friendly people. The property is gated for your security. This particular unit is on the 7th floor so long waits for the elevator and the entrance to the condo is quite narrow which creates a little struggle getting in and out with luggage and such. I definitely would stay here again.

Just what we needed

This place is a little dated, but you can tell the owners have tried to spruce it up (paint, new sofa, chair, recliner) without a complete overhaul (still has popcorn ceilings and stucco walls). It is, however, just what you need - the basics- and will work if you are trying to stay on budget. The furniture is comfy - wifi good and A/C nice & cold. The tv in the living room is awesome..the one in the bedroom is fine. The balcony on the 7th floor is FABULOUS! Bed is firm, so bring a memory foam topper if you like it softer. If you are not looking to spend an arm & a leg to come down and have a nice Okaloosa Island getaway, this place will do the trick! And don't forget to eat at Stewby's down the street...it's the best kept food secret around!

Bad start that ended good

To begin, this was my 1st VRBO booking so part of issues can be blamed on myself. Wanted balcony on upper floor w/gulf view. This condo provided that. Had full kitchen, great instruction on access, check in documentation. Being my first booking I did not notice on VRBO site that the unit was under renovation while booking until after I booked and was advised on access documentation from ResortQuest(owners). When we arrived property was clean and well maintained but balcony railing was missing due to construction and patio door blocked to prevent access. Disappointed, I felt this would suffice for the week but there was a chemical odor due to construction that I could not tolerate so I called the ResortQuest phone number and after advising agent, she talked w/manager who refunded our deposit! We found alternate accommodations nearby. I would definitely recommend this condo after renovations are completed and am sorry it didn’t work out.

Great stay!

Well stocked kitchen, gorgeous view of the beach and fireworks. Love being on a beach that’s not rows of beach goers. Enjoyed a week of dining, shopping and live music without having to venture into the traffic by staying in FWB and a day trip west. Plenty of rainy day books and games in the condo that we thankfully didn’t need! Extra chairs and beach toys were a nice bonus. Will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay in 7-D and certainly plan to stay again next year. The only thing I would request is that the icemaker be left on so that when we check in the next time at 4:00pm there will ice for a cocktail after driving all day would be nice. See you next year.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Almost perfect.

This place was clean and perfect for my small family. Balcony overlooking the beach and the building with direct beach access. I want to rate it 5 stars, but I’m only rating it 4 and here is why: 1. Pull out couch bed was horrifically uncomfortable. 2. the bedroom was not as cool as the rest of the condo and had no overhead lighting, only small bedside lamps. We like it to be cold when we sleep and the bedroom was not cool enough for us to sleep comfortably, but that is a personal preference and not necessarily the units fault. More lighting would have been helpful. 3. If they are not going to provide a washer and dryer in the unit, and make the guests use the laundry facility on sight, then they should provide a way to make change from dollar bills. I don’t carry $20.00 worth of quarters around, and it would have been nice to stick a couple dollars in a machine to get quarters for the washer and dryer. That was a pretty nice inconvenience because I had to drive around looking for a gas station or business who would give me quarters. 4. Blinds on the balcony door were broken so we couldn’t close them or keep the light out when trying to sleep in.

Only stay at a VACASA managed property as a last resort

The condo was perfect and we loved our location and ocean view, but in adequate toilet paper was provided, even when we requested one more roll. No shampoo or conditioner either. No beach towels provided too. So why the upcharges for amenities and housekeeping? Not a great value. We also needed another blanket...no food on the property or nearby either which was inconvenient. We were lucky we chose to get a high priced rental car.
