This beautiful side condo provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony. Guests can enjoy amenity like a full-size refrigerator, cook top stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher, and all the dishes, pots, and utensils necessary to prepare and serve meals. Each of the bedrooms and living room all have televisions to relax each evening after enjoying a long day out on the beach.

So easy!

The whole process of using Vacasa was so easy! From booking to check in to check out everything was seamless. The condo was beautiful and just the right size for the four of us. It was within steps of the beach, walking distance to several restaurants and even just for beautiful walk or morning run. We cannot wait to come back!

Great Spot!

This is a great condo in the perfect spot for beach and beautiful sunset views on quiet Okaloosa Island. The unit was clean and neat and just the right size for two of us. Could hold 4 easily but would be crowded for 6. The view is much better than the photos show. Beach and beach service were perfect and the pool is smaller but very nice. Only complaint is that mattress was uncomfortable but not so much that I would take away a star. Loved the step in shower in one of the bathrooms! I would rent this unit again!

Fun time!

We came down for our daughter’s softball nationals and had a great stay at the Islander! It was a quick drive to the fields and had everything we needed! We will be back!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were NOT comfortable - 1 bed squeezed every time a person moved. The toilet by the laundry room area was close to over flowing the 1st flush- we emailed twice and reported problem - issue was NOT fixed- so 4 ppl used 1 toilet for 5nights …. Also the ada shower leaked out everywhere / curtain was too short- that problem was addressed…. Patio has 2 chairs condo advertises sleeps 8🤔🤔- that’s a head scratcher. Idk if we will use VRBO again. Soooo disappointed -

I was a little disappointed in the overall unit we booked. The carpet in the 1st bedroom was dirty and had an unpleasant odor. The bathroom across from the kitchen flooded every time the shower was used because the shower curtain was about 4 inches too short. Resulting in having to wash towels daily. The furniture was stained. One of the sliding doors handle was broken so balcony access was hard. The kitchen was nice and clean. And access to the beach was great!! Confused as to why our unit didn’t come with beach chairs when the bigger building did. I would consider The Islander again but would definitely try another unit.

Nice Setup

The overall layout we loved and the 2 entry points to the condo. Outside renovations are going on and I’m sure inside renovations with bathrooms and etc. will follow. Good location and nice view. A couple of minor suggestions: Cleaning crew needs to check all towels to make sure they are clean. Several towels were folded under the sink but they were dirty. Also we were aware of the 10:00 a.m. checkout time, no need to come at 9:00 a.m. and knock on the door and then stand outside until 10:00 that’s very annoying.

The unit was not very clean, you could tell that a sloppy coat of paint was put over leaks in the ceiling. Thermostat was set so that you were sweating and we had no balcony access

Disappointed !!!

This unit is not quite as pictured and not as clean and updated as it appears !! In 30 years of visiting this area, this was very disappointing .... we were told this unit is not available for 24 hrs prior to next rental, therefore unavailable for Saturday to Saturday rental ......... housekeeping cleaned unit in 25 min and next guest did not wait the 24 hrs and checked in same afternoon

Islander 506

We had a good time during our stay at Islander 506. The balcony has great views of the gulf even though we did not have use of it due to construction. It had plenty enough room for all of us. Only "complaint" was the lighting. At night, we had to turn all the lamps on and in the bedrooms it is only lamps. The unit was well equipped with all sorts of dishes ans appliances for our use. Would stay here again.

Very happy

The kitchen and bathrooms were a little small, but overall a great place to stay. We had another condo booked in the area and 2 weeks before our vacation, we were notified by Vacasa (the property manager) that our condo was sold and no longer available. VRBO worked with us to help find a new condo and even made up the difference in price.

Great employees and the front desk. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Wonderful beds, pillows and bedding. Makes all the difference. Kitchen was completely stocked. Comfortable living room furniture. When a toilet had an issue, they sent someone up immediately to fix the problem. No complaints at all.
