Relax and enjoy the ocean waves and beautiful sands of Carolina Beach in this recently renovated, oceanfront 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo! Only 4 blocks from the High Tide Lounge and fishing Pier. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and a futon, and a full hall bath with washer/dryer in the closet. The living room also has a queen size pull out sofa bed. The master bedroom has a king bed, a full private bathroom, and a small street side balcony. Conveniently located on the north end of the island, this unit also has access to a community pool that is right next to the private beach access. Assigned parking for 2 vehicles using shared common driveway.

An odor in this place

There was an odor in the place and the cabinets had an even worse odor. We felt as if we had to wash everything in the cabinets before using and leave them out of the cabinets. This made us feel like everything was dirty. The sofas were very uncomfortable, also. The patio furniture was so rusty till we did not enjoy our usual time out on the porch. This was the first time in quite a few years since we had been to Carolina Beach. The uncomfortable feeling of the place made our trip unenjoyable. Also, the noise upstairs kept all of us awake, including the baby that was with us.

Not worth the price

I love Carolina Beach! Been going there for ten years! I have never rented a place through a realtor and never will again. I paid the same amount as usual and expected the same quality. Was said in the description I would have 2 parking spaces, there is no way! Barely enough for 2! I always stay ocean front, ocean view. We could only see the ocean at high tide. There was sand on the floors when we arrived. Linens were rough, towels had stains. I enjoy every year going to Carolina Beach but I will never rent through ICR again.

Wonderful Stay

I was very skeptical after reading the reviews but it was a great stay and would definitely stay again!! The property does need a little TLC and updated appliances. It was a little stuffy sometimes but I prepared for that as I do everywhere I go by bringing my fan lol. Other than that, I have no complaints. It was nice, clean, view was amazing and there’s so much to do in a very short distance. Also there were NO roaches at all!! Property manager was very helpful when we got there and noticed the futon was missing. They got us a rollaway early the next day since we were late checking in. It was such a nice stay that I wasn’t ready to leave lol

Needs Update —dated/rusty

Gave it 3 stars for cleanliness because the patio furniture was beyond rusted. The owners vicious simply buy plastic table. Didn’t even want to eat on it. Stove looked like from 1970s, washer/dryer rusty. The patio door in master could barely open due to rust. This would be a perfect spot if the owners gave the property a little TLC. Clean sheets and towels. Location was good.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We left early. Big roach problem. Rusted patio furniture, unusable frying pans (had to call management to replace). A/C doesnt work in bedrooms, have to leave doors open to get air. Undersink cabinet is rotted out (could be where bugs are entering. Awesome location property just not well maintained.

End of summer getaway

I was a little nervous having read the reviews, but booking last minute my options were limited. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The condo was much larger than I had expected. Some things could have been a little cleaner but over all We were very comfortable. There were extra utensils and supplies in the kitchen that most condos don’t stock. I loved the views, relaxing in the pool, had a crab boil on the deck, and spent many hours on the beach. I honestly couldn’t say a negative thing. Thanks for a wonderful week!

needs helps

Condo was of need of TLC. Air conditioner did not work in living room but worked in back bed rooms, had to buy fans just to try to stay cool in kitchen and living room. Maintenance did come look, said that he cold not fix problem without major overhaul. Roaches were present ,bought traps and spray took care of problem somewhat. When you save 3000.00 dollars up to have a fun vacation it is disappointing to find you wasted your money and time. We, besides the bad accommodations, had fun on the beach. Will not stay here again and I feel Intracoastal rentals should be careful of who they represent, it looks bad for them.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures online are very old. The property showed new items in the unit. Table and chairs on the back deck was rusted and unclean. There was lots of issues with the property. Water leak under the kitchen sink, roaches were in the kitchen, air condition was awful we were cooler by opening up the doors, blinds were broken and door wouldn’t open to go outside on the front deck. Commode tank lid was cracked. One good to say about our experience was the reality employees were very accommodating and send someone out immediately when we told about the roaches and had someone to spray the kitchen.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location steps from the beach. My family had to leave this rental after two days into our week. This unit was infested with roaches everywhere. They were so bad they came out during the day, it was gross. Had to find another place to stay during peak season which was next to impossible. We weren't even refunded our entire week that we paid. Don't rent this place.

Terrible Property

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great access to the beach, but terrible pest problem. My stay was plagued by roaches. I was told on a Sunday that - after three different occasions in one morning of seeing pests -I would have to stay another night before pest control could come. After multiple encounters with roaches in the kitchen during the middle of the day, I was not going to stay there with my young children and our belongings another day. So, I packed my things and left. After calling for days to obtain a resolution and being put off, I finally received a call from the owner and management company, who refused to refund my money. So I am out of $2500! I was asked to email a description of my experience and the photos\video I took of some of the roaches as evidence. I did so, but weeks have passed and I have not received an email or phone response. Beware!!!

Great Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great. The unit was very nice and roomy for a two bedroom. Everything worked just fine. Pool was well maintained. We had a great time doing mostly nothing but beaching it!! One Issue: That place has a severe roach problem and deserves to be professionally fumigated. We killed them all week. I emptied an entire can of RAID throughout the place early in the week, but towards the end our little friends came back strong. Originates in the kitchen area under the stove we believe. Having traveled many times to Mexico we are not that squeamish about that stuff, but you may have problems with other renters in the future.
