Adorable first floor guest studio with high ceilings & bright welcoming decor. Private entry with private driveway. 2 minute walk to beach with direct beach access at end of road. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, 2 burner hot plate, coffee maker, blender, dishes, pots, pans & utensils. Washer and Dryer inside unit. Cable & wifi provided. Living area has a full size couch and drop leaf table for dining or laptop workspace. Small (less than 30 lb) well trained/ house trained dogs welcome. $125 non-refundable pet fee applies. 2 dogs max.

Perfect Beach Stay

This studio is in a perfect location with everything you could need for a short getaway! The neighborhood is gorgeous and the studio feels private even though it’s attached. Really loved the little deck area. The beach is so close, and it’s easy to walk for coffee or dinner. Hosts were welcoming and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway

Wonderful effeciency apartment very close to beach. Extremely clean, comfortable, well appointed. Gracious hosts. Highly recommend. My mom and I had a great stay and we will definitely book again in the future.

Marvelous Studio

Really enjoyed my stay here. Has everything you need fir the beach besides your towel and suntan lotion! Well-appointed kitchenette with real glass, plates, etc. and a good array of appliances and pots and pans. Very close to the beach and a seafood market. Property is on the side so the beautiful deck faces the side of neighbor’s house, but i only saw them if they are out and about, which was pretty much only when they were coming home or leaving. Most of the time i had a very chill experience hanging outside. Plus you tend to not have a lot of privacy at the beach anyway. Highly recommend a stay here and hope to be back.

Adorable, perfect for 2 people and short walk to the beach. We loved having a fridge and microwave and beautiful shower as well as a washer/dryer! The bed is a full size bed and was pretty comfortable. They had a closet space with iron and ironing table available, as well as basic kitchen utensils, glasses and plates. Would absolutely book again!

Lovely place and Owners are great

We loved the stay. The place is super cozy and just enough for a couple. I loved that the owners provided beach chairs and a little cooler and the beach is within short walking distance of the Studio. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful very clean place

The only complaint I have is that we had our small dog with us and half way through the week people arrived next door and let their dogs run off leash. One charged me and my dog. Not the property owners fault but a deterrent if you have a dog as those people own the place next door.

Comfortable apartment close to the beach

The studio apartment is comfortable and perfect for a single person or couple. It's just a short walk to the beach! And I really appreciated the washer and dryer.

Great Place to Stay

My husband and I really liked this place. It’s small but perfect for us. So clean and had everything you would need or want. The best part was only a few minute walk to the beach, which we did everyday!! We would definitely go back there again.

Great beach vacation.

Very nice place for a couple to stay and visit the beach. Short walk to the beach, coffee/breakfast, and restaurants. Host kept us informed and was available if needed. (Everything went perfect so no need for us to contact the host) Thank you for the hospitality and beautiful place to stay on our beach vacation.

Perfect for Me + 1

I traveled here by myself for the first part of my stay and second part a long time friend came to stay, too. I was here a total of 5 nights. It was the perfect place for a get away for my friend and I. It is a studio apartment with separate bathroom and laundry! Big plus was the washer and drier since I had been traveling for over 3 weeks! It is close to the beach with a short walk and there is the additional complimentary additions of beach chairs, wave riders and shade umbrella. When I needed help with the internet and fixing of the shade umbrella Shawn and Stephanie were both there to make my stay an enjoyable one. The beach was beautiful and the pier was just a short walk. Nice places around to eat as well. If you are looking for a great place that feels like home then this studio apartment with all these comforts is the place to stay♥️☀️🌊🦀♥️

Great Location & Cleanliness

Perfect for a quick trip to the beach. Very clean and cozy. We stayed for a couple nights and were pleasantly surprised at how close to the beach we were. Highly recommend if you’re traveling solo or with a partner.

Always a pleasant experience!

Consistent great space close to heart of town

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this location and have been very pleased both times with the cleanliness and location to both the beach and the town center. It is a very short walk to the local coffee shop and Shagger Jacks, and is just down the street from local beach access. Oak Island Pier and 2 restaurants are also in close proximity. It has just enough room for a quick visit for 2 people. Highly recommend it to anyone travelling in a similar fashion.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It was spotless, located in a quiet neighborhood, and is convenient to everything on the island. Looking forward to staying here again soon! There's even an old school gumball machine, how cool is that!?

I’m already looking forward to come back…

I’m going to start this review saying that I’ll certainly book this studio again, for real, as often as my busy work schedule allows me to do so. I was already excited before booking it just because of all positive reviews, it’s really difficult to find a place that has solid 5 stars….now I understand why! The place is really spotless clean and to keep that being a place that’s pet friendly, hands down to Shawn and Stephanie! I’m also picky with smells and there was no smell what so ever which made me feel home away from home! The studio is small but you don’t feel clustered because it’s open…it also have big windows which brings a lot of light. The studio is loaded with everything you will need, coffee machine, pots & pans, silverware, glasses, etc. The owners are so kind that they also provide as courtesy dish detergent, laundry detergent, soap and even toothbrush and toothpaste. The décor is very nice and bring a happy atmosphere. Outside we have a private deck with a table, 2 chairs and even a shower so you can rinse the sand from the beach. We also have access to a storage where we can borrow beach chairs, umbrella, a little bodyboard and even 2 bicycles. The beach is 2 blocks away, right in the end of calm street where studio is located. Beach itself is amazing, not crowded at all, has clear white sand and water stays warm until late in the evening. You also have easy and nearby access to a Food Lion, beach stores and restaurants. I recommend a visit to Southport ;)
