Beautiful Wild Dunes Villa, near beach with lagoon view and screened porch!

Located within the popular gated community of Wild Dunes, this three bedroom and three bath tri-level town home sleeps six and is just a short walk to the nearest beach access. The balconies off the living room and twin bedroom, overlook a waterway. Need a break from the sun? Escape to the screened porch to enjoy conversational seating.

Flat-screen televisions are provided in the living room and each bedroom, and provide Amazon streaming capability, no cable. Wireless internet included. All three bathrooms have been renovated for the 2023 rental season. Kitchen flooring and cabinetry updated in April of 2021, kitchen countertops new as of 2022.

**Wild Dunes Resort Dining, Golf, Pickleball and Tennis are available to the public for applicable fees. *
Renters do not have access to Resort pools or gyms, per Wild Dunes regulations

We had a very nice stay at Wild Dunes. It was minutes away from the beach and very close to the tennis courts. The rooms were very spacious and updated. We were very comfortable and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Peaceful beach friends vaca

5 min walk to the private beach... screened porch to sip coffee and beautifully decorated 3 bedroom space. Great stay. Wifi did not work so tv didn't work but we did not spend a large amount of time in the condo. We notified the property manager and hopefully it was sorted for the next travellers.

Short walk to beach, clean, easy rental

Super clean property. Easy check in process with Island Realty (even after we had a 5 hour delay in traffic - they just put the code and parking passes in a lockbox for us). The property is exactly as advertised. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach which is awesome. We parked our boat at the nearby IOP Marina so we only used this public access beach 2x. My only tiny complaint is that, although we were incredibly comfortable at the property, it felt as if we were staying in someone else's home. It was very clearly a WFH and remote school quarantine location for the owner. Desks with crayon marks were in every room, pictures of the family, homework on the fridge. I can't REALLY complain - it's their house. But, for a vacation rental, it was a little awkward. Also, they didn't advertise beach wagon/beach chairs/etc. in the listing - so no surprises - but the garage door is locked and has a glass door and you can see that all of that stuff is locked in the garage. It would be a HUGE addition to allow access to that beach stuff. We usually expect it when we rent beach houses so we only brought two chairs with us. Again, no complaints just suggestions for improvements. This is our 5th time in Charleston, 2nd rental house on IOP. We love it! It's more crowded than we prefer (the island/the neighborhood), but the access to the marina and Charleston makes it worth the traffic/people on the island.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good:clean, updated bathrooms and kitchen. The bad: the furniture is old, ratty and disgustingly stained. The carpet had large brown stains. The bedrooms were overfilled with furniture that had kids paint and markers all over it. The master suite has twin beds. Some of the furniture has obviously been chewed on by a dog.i was so disappointed to have spent money in this unit for a long awaited Thanksgiving with my parents.I should've rented directly from Wild Dunes...they have much higher standards for their rental units!

This property is on the Wild Dunes resort but does not include the resort amenities. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The furniture is pretty worn in some areas, and the screen off the living room kept coming off the track. Shower fixtures are worn. Towels provided were in good shape, and plenty of trash bags, though there needed to be instuctions what to do with the trash. Would have preferred access to one of the pools on the property

Needs updating

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It desperately needs updating. Our main concern was the black mold in the master bathroom. My husband has asthma and it was triggered this week. They came and just painted over it after our text message about it. The iron was broken and a college sized one was then brought out to the property. We had to contact office because numerous lights were out and needed replacements -including a bathroom and laundry room that were very dark otherwise. The deck is rotted and my husband didn’t feel it safe to sit outside on it. The screen was so finicky and was so difficult to open we stopped trying. The cleaning was minimal at best. There were ants in the other bathroom upstairs. Extremely disappointed as this is our 16th year going and booking through VRBO.

lovely place

Property was really beautiful and a quick walk to the beach. The condo was also very lovely. Pros: beautiful location, nice condo, comfy beds, code lock doors were super convenient, good parking fully equipped kitchen to cook anything but grilling. Cons: only one towel for each person for the entire stay is not adequate when you are at the beach daily, the TVs were so small I could not really watch anything while in bed, and it is a complete rip off that we got only 3 towels for 3 people the entire stay and only got one towel for each person AND had to strip out own beds and place the linens and towels by the front door, take out all the trash and get rid of all food for the steep cleaning cost paid for only 3 night stay, and it would be really helpful if there was a better map noted with the pools we are allowed to go to on the property. If we are supposed to wash our one and only towel then please provide laundry detergent and softener. I want to give 5 stars for cleanliness but there were 4 or 5 pubic hairs in the corners of the second floor bathroom floor. I did not look in the other bathrooms. Everything else was very neat and tidy.

Didn't feel it was clean and the owner's personal items were everywhere as if they just moved out for my rental. Needs a detailed cleaning. Dishwasher did not clean dishes- had to run the cycle more than once each time to get them clean.
