We had a wonderful stay! The house was just like the pictures and close to the beach and main part of the resort. We love Wild Dunes and will definitely be back!

Weekend Get Away

Enjoyed some good family time at house. Spent a lot of time outside with the beautiful May weather. The sunroom was nice for game nights.

Nice place - but my credit card was hacked.

Not sure if my credit card hack was due to Island Reality, but only used for a few transactions in past 2 months. The place was very nice and clean - would recommend

Welcoming Beach Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two living spaces makes the house feel very roomy. Several nights we had twelve people for dinner and games and did not feel cramped. The kitchen is small but sufficient. We enjoyed our stay. The Amenities list needs to be updated. There is a DVD player in the living room.

Nice House in Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house in great location. The only issue we had was with small roaches in the kitchen, which is not out of the ordinary. The managing company quickly responded and sent a pest control person out right away. The bugs seemed to be getting in through a small opening under the door frame leading into the kitchen, to the right of the refrigerator. Also, a large skillet should be added to the kitchenware.

A Home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I loved our two-week stay here, away from the flooding in WNC.We spent lot of time in the bright and comfy sunroom. The master bed is ultra comfortable. We did not try the others.The updated kitchen is sunny and really well done. The home's AC and heat work beautifully.The home is a short walk to the beach. The path is next to large beautiful homes with pretty vegetation that gives them some privacy from the beach goers.THe living room in the photo is not quite as bright as it looks in the photo, but it is perfect and really comfortable for night time use.The home's decoration style is an interesting mix of updated/contemporary and slightly dated. It is obvious the owners love it and take good care of it.

Great Rental House and Location in Wild Dunes

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Comfortable house in Wild Dunes. Short walking distance to the beach, the Pavilion and the dock on the lagoon. Book thru Island Realty, not VRBO! VRBO charges a fee and then Island Realty charges a fee. Paid a lot extra for nothing! Save the money and visit Island Realty's site! Supplies were a bit low. We had to conserve on towels and toilet paper. There was no hand soap. There were lots of beds so it was nice to have flexible sleeping arrangements. Neat house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about this home, from its proximity to the resort and easy beach access. The home is well-stocked with everything you need for a fun family gathering. We especially enjoyed all of the comfortable seating and beds. Kitchen is great - would suggest having coffee filters on hand for guests’ first mornings at least since we can’t pre buy those, not knowing the type we’ll need. Other than that we loved everything and will choose this home again. Thanks!

A king size bed would be nice in the master bedroom. Location was very convenient inside the property. The only main issue was a sewer smell coming from the laundry room.

Had it been a little more equipped, it would have been an even better experience. For example, there were just 8 bath towels (one per guest), one kitchen towel, barely enough toilet paper, and only one roll of paper towels. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

The location of the property was very convenient to the beach access. The house was very comfortable. The only drawback with the house was the common areas did not have blinds or curtains. It was a little more open than we like, especially in the evenings. We had a very good experience with this rental property and look forward to returning in the future.
