The entire cottage is at your disposal and offers many possibilities for complete privacy or abundant outdoor fun. Comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults & 2 children OR 2 adults & 4 children. The cottage has 2 bedrooms. There is a Master Bedroom with King bed and vanity in closet and the second bedroom is located in the loft with two twin beds. Full kitchen w/stainless appliances, granite countertops, & stacked laundry unit. All cooking supplies such as pots, pans, bowls, etc. are included.

There is a full bath and a half bath in the loft area.

Great Room with soaring ceiling & abundant natural light has a safe & efficient electric fireplace to instantly set the mood.

Free Fiber optic high speed internet and ROKU smart TV keep you up to date with what’s going on around the globe while you relax in this little remote and scenic hideaway.

Wrap-a-round deck features fire table for ambiance and gas grill for bar-b-q. Down the metal steps is your own private trail to Center Hill Lake. Enjoy view or wet a line. THE TRAIL IS STEEP.

TN vacation

The house was beautiful and so peaceful and quiet, was not a bad drive to the Bergen falls and we ate at the cute little restaurant when we came out of there, highly recommend. The beds were comfortable and a lot of extras.

Great stay.

We had a great time during our stay. The place was clean and well taken care of. Great communication. Only issue is that the listing says there is an out door shower and this is no longer present.

This house was the perfect size for our family of 5. We had our own rooms and beds and with the two bathrooms it was perfect! Much better than a hotel!

Mountain Stay

This house is great for a quiet stay in the mountains. We had to cancel at the last minute and the owner communicated well and was kind with new arrangements. Will definitely come back!

Very clean and comfortable

We stayed here Memorial Day weekend. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We loved hanging out on the deck with the fire pit and enjoying the weather. There are tons of windows to enjoy nature even while inside. The kitchen was great for cooking our own meals. It was nice having a washer and dryer after being on the water during the day.

Our stay at this property was brief. The host is communicative and responded to messages promptly. This lake home is nice tho I really missed a homey-warm feeling. It is mostly grey/white minimal decor. The bed was comfy enough, did not prefer microfiber feel of the linens. Lots of fragrance via air freshener things. Mentioning for others with sensory concerns. The instructions about the driveway next door are no joke, don’t go down that! Parking spot is directly above the entrance to the home, positioned at the top of the stairs that lead to the front door. The deck is really nice and was my favorite part of our time here :)

All the comforts of home, quite a steep incline drive off the mountain to the cabin, as well as short walk to the waters edge, but beautiful!

I purchased this cabin this year right after it was completely remodeled. I used to come down to Austin Bottom as a kid. After moving away for over 20 years I ended back in Cookeville. I use this cabin for myself and take great care of it, as I hope you will. I also own a restaurant in downtown Cookeville with live music and great food.
