The entire cottage is at your disposal and offers many possibilities for complete privacy or abundant outdoor fun. Comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults & 2 children OR 2 adults & 4 children. The cottage has 2 bedrooms. There is a Master Bedroom with King bed and vanity in closet and the second bedroom is located in the loft with two twin beds. Full kitchen w/stainless appliances, granite countertops, & stacked laundry unit. All cooking supplies such as pots, pans, bowls, etc. are included.

There is a full bath and a half bath in the loft area.

Great Room with soaring ceiling & abundant natural light has a safe & efficient electric fireplace to instantly set the mood.

Free Fiber optic high speed internet and ROKU smart TV keep you up to date with what’s going on around the globe while you relax in this little remote and scenic hideaway.

Wrap-a-round deck features fire table for ambiance and gas grill for bar-b-q. Down the metal steps is your own private trail to Center Hill Lake. Enjoy view or wet a line. THE TRAIL IS STEEP.

We had a wonderful weekend! The cabin was so cute and very clean. We had everything we needed and the bed was very comfy. Our kids want to come with us next time after seeing the kids area up in the loft!

We had a very nice, relaxing stay at this cottage by the Lake! It was very clean inside and the accommodations inside and out were great. The main bedroom bed is very comfortable and the deck outside with the fire pit is very nice and relaxing, minimal to no bugs, and the weather was perfect!!! Our only recommendation might be, due to its remote location, having some updated pots/pans in the kitchen for cooking there. And finally, just clearing the walkway down to the lake would be great, so it’s not such a covered path, and easier to navigate the steep hill. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay! Thankyou!!

Had a great experience at this cottage. The owner, Kevin is very kind and easy to work with. The place is exactly as pictured and in a peaceful location. It’s about 20-30 minutes from the highway and stores but if you’re up for a lovely scenic and serene drive, you’ll enjoy it!

We absolutely loved our stay and this area of TN. The cottage is comfy cozy and the rivers were better than I imagined. Bring your fishing gear and your bathing suit. You won’t be disappointed

The lake house was very cute and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We loved having quick access to the lake, both via the trail and a very short drive over to one of the boat launch areas. My only feedback would be that the trail down to the lake could use a little TLC as it was pretty overgrown, but other than that everything was great!

The cottage was very nice. The view if the lake was blocked by the trees. Everything was there that we needed . The host was very accommodating. We had a peaceful week there.

Myra, it is unfortunate with that good review that you didn’t feel like this was a 5 star property. We apologize if you expected something different. We try to have a very fair write up with pictures for the property which do not state there is a full lake view and the photographs clearly show trees between the cabin and the lake due to the Army Core lake buffer.

Great experience overall. The place was very clean and well kept, which made the stay really comfortable. Kevin was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the process. The view was beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. I would happily stay here again.

We loved this little house. Family of 4 had enough room for everyone. Storage was a little tricky but we were able to figure it out. House is about 2 miles up a one lane road so you're definitely out in the middle of nowhere. But all the waterfalls we came to see we're an hour away or less which was great for us. We did walk the trail down to the lake. Which is very steep and more like a water run off then an actual trail. But kids thought it was a fun adventure. Wish we could've seen the lake from the house. Parking was a little tight and interesting to turn around. Overall house was stocked well with starters, just had to buy a few extra basics like extra toliet paper and laundry detergent. Stayed 4 nights 5 days. Didn't use the deck like I thought we would because we were out exploring waterfalls. Loved the area and house was good for what we needed

Thank you for your review. We always strive for 5 star reviews at our property. We also feel that we were very descriptive about the location and property including the view. We said partial lake view depending on the season and we even have photographs clearly showing trees that could block some of the view. We suggest that each potential renter reads the entire description of the property and view all of the photographs of the property they are thinking about renting.

I use this cabin for myself and take great care of it, as I hope you will. I also own a restaurant in downtown Cookeville with live music and great food.
