Unwind in Smithville at this newly renovated, ranch style, brick home in a peaceful, private country setting. The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, den, kitchen, dining room, large laundry room, and back patio. Plenty of level parking with circle driveway. Located 5 miles from Smithville and 10 miles to the nearest Center Hill Lake access.
Bedroom # 1 has a queen bed, Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, and Bedroom #3 has a full bed. Amenities include Wi-Fi, TVs w/Ruko in Bedroom #1 and Living Room, new appliances including cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, toaster, coffee maker and more.
Bathroom #1 has tub w/shower. Bathroom #2 is a smaller, full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Note - There is a room on the end of the home which is currently used for storage that is not part of the rental unit and is not accessible to guests.

Stayed at this lovely home over the 4th July weekend. I came to town to attend the Smithville Fiddlers Jamboree. Minutes from downtown. Super clean, had everything we needed. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a well kept and loved home.

Very clean and relaxing place to stay. Came down for work for a couple days. Cleanest wood floors I've ever seen! Would definitely stay again on next trip down.

Clean, convenient, and great boat parking! We stayed for a long weekend, to have easy access to Center Hill Lake, an easy 20 minute drive to Sligo Marina. Hosts were very accommodating.

Excellent place

We had a great stay! The house was perfectly clean and tidy. Very well maintained inside and out. Nice and quiet country setting with a beautiful view. We enjoyed relaxing on the back patio as well as in the comfy living room. Would absolutely stay here again.

Quick last minute trip

Quick last minute trip to visit local family. The house was nicely appointed and well taken care of. Nice quiet country setting, but not so far out from town if you find you have forgotten something and need a quick trip to the store. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the farmer mow the hay. Host was detailed on directions and rules of the house, which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely book this house in the future.

Overall, the Vrbo worked for us.The biggest complaint was that the listing didn’t say that the second bathroom was on the other side of the house and not near the second bedroom. And it was very tiny. Also, there were ants in the kitchen, andcouldn’t really use the TV.?Only suggestion would be to leave two sets of keys because we had two couples

Thank you for the review. I will try to address your comments. Please note that we regard cleanliness and bug/ant control of utmost importance, The home is routinely treated for bugs/ants inside the house and outside around the perimeter. We did notice a few ants while cleaning after you checked out, and the area was promptly cleaned and treated. It is unfortunate that you didn't find the location of the smaller, second bathroom to your liking. In the listing the shower is described as small and there is a picture of the bathroom in the photos. One positive for that location, which some people appreciate, is that it offers greater privacy. (This home has been in the family since 1966 and the shower in the small bathroom was used almost exclusively). I have been intending to add a plan view blueprint (layout) of the house in the photos. Both TVs are internet connected with ROKU boxes. The TVs are checked before each check-in to minimize problems. I am not clear on what you mean by the phrase "couldn't really use the TV": hardware problems, couldn't figure out the remotes, or just didn't like the programming? Whatever the problem, I regret it happened. I hope the extra hour you requested for check out was beneficial. Glad I could help.
