INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

Love this place

The room is exactly like the pictures. Great location. From booking to checking out everything was very easy. Would definitely book this room again.

Amazing condo!

My family absolutely loved the condo, and the location! Parking garage/situation would be my only complaint but that’s not anything anyone can control. The condo was spotless, and looks just like in the photos! We enjoyed the large pool, and easy beach access! The food at the pool was amazing and the staff was super friendly! If we come back to Panama we will definitely be looking at staying at this resort again! Probably even the exact same room, as it was super close to elevators, stairs, and parking garage entrance!

Needs cleaning

Overall this property was satisfactory. It had everything we needed for our trip, beach and pool were nice but very crowded, restaurants and activities were within walking distance and on site amenities were convenient. The condo itself needs some TLC but nothing that was major. We did have to wash some of the blankets because it was obvious that they had not been washed between renters and although the condo smelled as if it had been cleaned the floors turned our feet black on the first day and the counter tops felt gritty. For the price paid I should not have had to clean the condo before unpacking.

The location and unit were good, but I will say the elevators were a problem. There are only 4 on the entire property and usually long waits each time you use it. They didn’t always go all the way to the ground either which was frustrating. The garage was awful. If you have a big vehicle, you might want to rethink bringing it. It’s really tight and goes both directions so it’s always a problem when you meet people coming from the opposite direction at the corners. We took advantage of the sunset cruise as well as Dave & Buster passes and really enjoyed it. The beaches are amazing! You have to weigh the good with the bad.

Nice place but needs updates

The 5th floor was great. 2 min walk to car in garage and elevators where easy to access right out the door. A couple times they were backed up so we just took the stairs. Bed was really soft and comfortable in master which is always great. For those using the couch bed even it was comfortable for being a couch bed. I would for sure say this place needs some upgrading on things but location in resort is great. The floors were dirty and all our feet where black in 30 min of walking on them. Towel and toilet paper racks were falling off which isn’t a horrible issue, but needs some upgrading. The bottom bunk in bunk room was terribly squeaky. Woke everyone up in the middle of the night many times. Shower wasn’t bad but needs a new shower head I can’t say I had an enjoying shower. Bathroom door would not close which was highly frustrating. If owners can fix those small issues I believe Over all it’s a great little place to stay on your vacation.

Nice resort/ condo not good

Before entering condo it was supposed to be inspected. With that said when we first entered condo we immediately noticed condo was hot and had a strong moldy smell. A/C was not cooling off. Maintenance and AC repair guy did come see about it and said unit needed to be replaced. Unit started cooling after completely shutting down then for the rest of the trip we could not sleep because of loud clanking noise from AC. Yes part was fixed but not until our last day there. We were there for 5 nites. Before the part was fixed water was leaking from AC onto floor. We were given extra towels to soak up water but water did continue to leak under flooring and came up from under it. The kitchen and living room were nice but the bathrooms were not. Molded shower curtain and shower heads, broken towel racks, shower drain not connected to the floor in kids bathroom exposing pipe to drain. Food left in freezer. Numerous dents need touching up. The resort is nice. Great location. Would stay at Shores of Panama again. But not this condo. Sad and disappointed about it.

Has pros and cons staying here ..

Condo review.. Room 508 was very beautiful and perfect view . Parking has assigned spot which help alot was on same level. Was just like the photos. I have nothing to say about the condo it self. Me and my husband was very pleased with our room. I give 5 stars to the condo was very happy with the activitys that you get during your stay. Resort review... The property is beautiful has places to eat, drink, access to the beach ect. The pool is stunning. it's Close to walking to Walmart, activities and eating ect .. the staff was pretty nice .. The only thing I would have to say while we stay there that we was not happy about was a few things we got really irritated about was . While we was there wasn't really able to enjoy the pool or pool deck due to people laying stuff on the chairs and most of them was empty no one sitting on them for hours . And people throwing balls and large crowds in the pool. Small children with out an adult was jumping in the hot tub. Parking garage is very very tight.. recommen a small car.. big trucks have a hard time parking. But alot of traffic on the road when pulling out .. Elevators was a nightmare had to wait forever to catch one.. one of the things that bother us. Was after quite hour 10pm people was screaming and making loud noises from balcony. Happen back to back 3 nights in a row. Security was doing there best to control it. But they only can do so much.. I don't think after the expirances we had most likely want be staying again. Really not worth the price and headache.. people just don't have any curiosity any more. If you do desided to stay here recommend a foldable wagon it was a life saver. Instead of having to wait for an elevator to go down to get a cart then back up ..

Best stay!

It was clean, and well furnished. The property is on a busy street but getting into and out of the parking deck isn’t too bad, and Walmart is in walking distance. Elevators are limited in the complex in comparison to the number of condos so being on the 5th floor is definitely a plus!!! 10/10 recommend staying here!

Overall okay!

This is my second time staying in this building and The location of this property is well worth the price ! We stayed in room 508 and it had yet to be cleaned once we checked in. I immediately called the hotline and they had the cleaning service there within 20 minutes! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. There were a few things here and there throughout the condo that needs some fixing but nothing that got in the way of us enjoying our time! Will be back a third time!!
