Stay in Surf City

Great location, cute place. May need a little TLC soon like some touch up paint on walls, replace old bedspreads, etc, but that’s just small stuff that doesn’t really effect the overall stay. Thank you for letting us use the place.

Easy access to beach and other amenities

Overall, our stay at this location was great. It was quiet, had a great view and there was unlimited access to the beach and pool. Plus that it has a laundry room as well!

Great Location

Oceanfront saved the week. With a real feel of 106 it was very comfortable sitting on the covered balcony during the heat of the day.

Loved our vacation!

We got plenty of exercise going up and down stairs! Beautiful view and loved the beach!! Pool was nice!! Condo was roomy and very comfortable!! The only downside is I could have saved the VRBO money going directly to realtor. Realtor was very nice and made our stay wonderful!

Building 1, surf condo

Over all a good place for us. Clean and good bones as far as size and configuration. However, in disrepair somewhat. Shelves and drawers in fridge broken, hooks and pictures coming off walls. No bedside lights in main bedroom.

Not as pictured

Nice condos but ours was very dirty. The floors were dirty the shower was dirty, and the sliding door for the balcony didnt really work. Couch was dirty as well. Photos online seemed very nice but must have been just cleaned for them. Dust was everywhere dust. The area and location is great i just wish the owners or management would have had it cleaned better for our stay. Also sheets and towels and toliet paper were not jncluded and tonget them there was additional cost.

Poor

It is 2022, each unit should have a washer and dryer available! I also accidentally left a high chair (attaches to the bar) there…called several times and no one ever got back to me! This chair was very expensive and we used it every day. I asked for it to be mailed back to us in July and still no answer.

Family Vacay.

Overall had an excellent stay. A few things seemed dated (dishwasher had multiple prongs missing) and the couch had a sour smell. Just seems with paying as much money as guest pay, upgrades / maintaining furniture would be an ease.

Never again!

Over 30 steps to reach the unit. Never mentioned in the listing. My mother got up to the unit and sat down and cried. She could not do the stairs. 85 years old with a knee replacement, why should she! I am disgusted by the misrepresentation of this property. Our family reunion was negatively impacted because of it. Shame on you.

Girlfriends beach weekend

We had a fantastic stay in Surf City at Surf City condos. Our condo was on the 3rd floor, so you have to carry bags/luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Once you get to the balcony it is a beautiful view! It was like a dream to listen to the music of the ocean 24 hrs. The sunset view was like an art piece. Town is close, about a 10 minute walk. There are a few restaurants just down the beach, and a grocery store. Get your liquor before Sunday and lookout for covid hours! Will return again!
