El Villino en Cypress Ridge Estate

El Villino (o pequeña villa) en Cypress Ridge Estate está ubicado en un viñedo y olivar de 22 acres en las laderas del "valle del viñedo", con espectaculares vistas del mar del norte de 180 grados sobre la Bahía de Onetangi y hacia la Gran Barrera, el Coromandel y islas del golfo exterior.
La villa de estilo mediterráneo está ubicado entre jardines colgantes de colores brillantes, las frutas y olivos con zonas exteriores encantadores (incluyendo una piscina de hidromasaje y barbacoa) para nuestros huéspedes a relajarse y disfrutar de la belleza del entorno y de la intimidad de la finca.

El Villino tiene un dormitorio doble, un baño completo con bañera y un área pequeña cocina abierta / sala de estar con estufa de leña. Las grandes puertas de doble hoja abren la casa a las terrazas y vistas al mar, creando un hermoso espacio abierto.

Nuestros huéspedes pueden explorar la finca ... pasear por el olivar y el viñedo, disfrutar de la cosecha de nuestra gran huerta, encontrar huevos frescos en el gallinero, vagar por un acre de arbustos nativos con varios árboles Puriri de 1000 años de antigüedad o haga un picnic a la sombra de las enormes Pohutukawas con vistas a nuestros viñedos vecinos.

La propiedad comparte límites con varios viñedos y restaurantes galardonados, como Miro / Casita Miro, Stonyridge, Te Motu y Obsidian ... haciendo que el vino y la comida espectaculares estén a un corto paseo. Un paseo de 10 minutos por la colina conduce a la pintoresca playa de Onetangi, y está a 2, 5 kilómetros de arena blanca y otros 10 minutos por la playa lleva al pub local.

Romantic Getaway

Ideal for a quiet getaway

Weather was stunning which really made our weekend. The place was cute, loved the provisions for breakfast and the view. Spacious bedroom and a window seat in the sun. The place was a real sun trap which kept the place warm during the day too. Mandarins straight off the trees were delicious. An easy walk down the hill to the beach -naturally a little more effort required on the return. Use WaiCabs for excellent service every time we have been to the island and the best pricing. Either bring a car or plan to only visit the wineries and restaurants in Onetangi that you can walk to, otherwise cabs add up far too quickly if you are trying to get back to restaurants and wineries closer to Oneroa.

Inspite of walls of window the setting feels private. Access to the house requires a bit of a walk up but it's worth the amazing views. Well stocked kitchen with fresh eggs and local olive oil. Used the hot tub every day

Absolute bliss!

The perfect backdrop to our 25th wedding anniversary getaway. The house was very comfortable, with everything we could have wanted. The views were amazing and the terrace overlooking them was just wonderful; a lovely place for nibbles and meals, we spent a lot of hours there! The self-catered breakfast foods were delicious and generous in size, and the owners were very approachable and informative - thank you for all your help, we had a delightful stay and definitely wish to return again soon :) Thank you very much

Breathtaking

The photos really don't do this property justice. Great space, amazing views, wonderful location situated in the center of the island and let than 30 minutes to anywhere. This is also a very well marked road and access is super easy with great privacy to the property. Thank you for a great stay

Romantic couples retreat

Perfect place for couples to relax and explore the awesome vineyards that are right at your back door. Only thing that would have made it better is if the Spanish restaurant on the neighbouring had been open, but alas they had shut for the winter. All the more reason to return. The host, Kim, was delightful too....

This whole experience was amazing! I can not recommend it enough! Me and my husband wanted a weekend away and this place was perfect! The weekend was really bad weather, but it didn't even bother us! Beautiful breakfast food, movies, spa and amazing hosts-

While the villa is acceptable in it's current state, a bit of property maintenance and an interior deep cleaning would send the experience over the top.

This was the most romantic place my husband and I stayed EVER! And we've travelled a bit.

This was the most romantic place my husband and I stayed EVER! And we've travelled a bit. The house was authentic/vintage yet so polished and stylish. It was so well run by Kim and they have thought about everything! The fresh breakfast that's included (fresh eggs from the property, bacon, muesli, fruit etc) just make the stay! The180? view, walking distance to Onetangi beach and the vineyard walking trail, the Spa under the stars!! wow! Great stay for a long weekend. :)

It is totally private, faces north and enjoys sun all day because of the excellent design of the building. The interior is full of character and the furnishings are very comfortable. The spa under the stars was perfect. The outside deck chairs and fridge are in period but due for replacement which Kimberley is addressing. We enjoyed our stay very much even with two days wet weather

This property is just amazing.

This property is just amazing. Stunning views and interiors to match. We loved lounging in the bay window, padding around the cool sandstone/concrete floors, sunning in the immediate gardens and nibbling the yummy locally sourced food. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful spot and the extra touches (picnic basket, beach bag, homemade foods etc etc) made our stay even more special. Perfection on Waiheke.
