I recommend this property as high as I possibly can! My feelings for this property is so high, that I could not say a negative word about any of it! Book it! A bit more detail: My oldest daughter (15) was excited to go to Maui and see sea turtles and within 1 min of checking in and going to see the amazing view there was a turtle swimming just a few yards out in the water. We would watch the sunset as often as we could on the lanai (porch) and just listen to the waves come onto shore. Everything for the beach were there for our convivence! There was chairs, beach towels, small ice chests, toys and umbrella. The kitchen was FULLY stocked! We didn't cook much, but found everything that we needed to make a perfect dinner! We were going to check into the condo the day after the tsunami warning and when I reached out to the owners, they provided what they knew and the website they were following to get the latest information. We exchanged messages throughout the stay and could not appreciate the open communication any more!

Can’t say enough about how pleased we were with the property. Everything was as stated by the owners on Vrbo . Having stayed at Maui Kia many years ago brought us back. You can not get any better view. Sunset between Molokai and Lania every evening. If you want a little quieter experience and no crowds like the ones around the property, this is the place. Others are a zoo. No other property closer to the ocean. Contact with owners could not be better. To the owners many thanks. Mahalo Don and Carol

Amaizing water view Kaanipali Condo

Great location, lanai view, condo set up, kitchen, water sports. Everything and more you would want for your West Maui experience. I wish I had another week there.Could spend all day on the lanai with binoculars watching whales. Great snorkel beach and boardwalk next door. Shopping nearby.Owner was a pleasure to work with.

Amazing!

The condo was very nice, clean and comfortable. Views are amazing. The area was nice with restaurants, market, bars within walking distance and the area felt very safe. I liked that the condo wasn’t a massive resort so it wasn’t loud or overcrowded. We hope to stay again!

Amazing view

Condo was in a great area- very quiet never heard anybody! The view was unbelievable 180° view of the ocean, reefs ,so many turtles. The location in Kannapali was just perfect in the middle of the best part of the west side of Maui! it’s a small shopping center right across the street, which was very convenient in the beaches in that area area which just unbelievably gorgeous! The condo is very clean and everything you need was there! We would definitely go back and we are going to refer friends and family as well! The lanai was just perfect!!! Small pool, but no one was over there!

Great place

Highly recommend this place. Beautiful ocean view with great snorkeling opportunities and the beach right in front of the location. All snorkeling supplies were included. Very clean room with plenty of light. Everything we needed was there. Great walking trail right off the resort and several food trucks/restaurants within easy walking distance. There’s a small grocery store across the street as well. The pool and entertaining area was nice as well. Nothing to complain about with this place.

This waterfront property is incredible and I wish we could have stayed much longer. The unit has everything you could need and the panoramic view is out of this world. There is easy, secure parking and it’s close to lots of local amenities. We walked down the beach to a sunset dinner at Dukes one night and we walked 5 minutes to a food truck park and grocery store another night. Communication and property access was clear and efficient. Ideal for couples!

More than you could hope for...

This property is in an excellent location, situated right on the beach such that you cannot even see properties to the left or right of you. The 180 degree view of the ocean is an understatement. Very quiet area and building. Easy plentiful parking. Food trucks a short walk away for dinners. Saw turtles and dolphins from the balcony multiple times. You will love this place. Chris has included everything you might need.

It was perfect!

It was absolutely perfect for us! The location was great. Very quiet, but close to resorts so we could walk to several different restaurants. Steps away from the beach on either side. Close to the food trucks. Close to the “beach walk” so I enjoyed some runs. And the condo itself had everything we needed. We also loved that it was high so it was super private (no one could see onto our balcony except passing boats). We loved sitting on the lanai listening to the waves. No complaints!

Great Getaway!!

Perfect location! SOO many turtles to watch from the lanai or beach swimming by over the reef. Comfortable bed and the pull out sofa was a nice addition. Love to listen to the ocean at all hours. Gorgeous views of Lanai and Moloka’i! Highly recommend.

Clean and peaceful place with an incredible view

Quite street, quiet building, beach front, everything was left very clean for us and we woke up and went to sleep with an incredible view every day and night. Chris left very detailed, easy to follow instructions and helped us out with food recommendations for the area. It was super helpful to have a cooler, beach chairs, beach towels and snorkel gear. We will definitely be back.

Location and communication with owner was great. Property is very old and there were ants and cockroach in the kitchen. Won't stay here again.

Perfection!

Wonderful location to watch whales, turtles, and sunsets. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. A good central location close to stores and the food truck park. Host was very responsive and helpful to a small issue, which was resolved quickly. Recommend staying here if you have a chance!

Wonderful Stay!

We could not have asked for more. The private large lanai had gorgeous views. We had spectacular whale watching, not to mention paddle boarders, boats, canoes, etc. Had we not gone any other place, the lanai alone made it a great vacation. The kitchen was very well equipped and had plenty of counter space which we really appreciated since we cooked most of our meals. The bed was comfortable. The condo was clean and at least as good as the pictures show. The location is perfect for walking the beach, restaurants and a grocery store. The owner, Chris, was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We’d go back in a nano second.

Perfect Place

Have stayed in this condo before and it's the perfect place for my husband and me! Well maintained, well stocked, responsive owner! Stunning Views, Access to Everything, Privacy, Comfort.

It's hard to articulate every detail which made this stay amazing but the first thing which comes to mind is the stunning view. It really is accurate in the photos, and yet the photos don't do it justice. Before arrival, the host Chris was always prompt and caring in his communication. The check-in instructions were clear, and there was a helpful and friendly staff person in the lobby as well in case you have any questions. The condo is clean and perfectly stocked for a small party (we were two people.) In addition, the bed was very comfortable. There was even snorkeling gear as well as beach chairs and little portable cooler bags, which was really nice. There are succinct, clear instructions posted throughout the condo, which really helps you to navigate everything without any problems (and you don't have to sit and study a rental booklet because the instructions are right there when you need them, which was a thoughtful touch). The entertainment system worked great for us, as you can sign into your own streaming accounts. (I wish we would've brought an HDMI cord though, to play video directly from the computer.) You do need to bring your own binoculars, which we did, and that added a lot of value to the view. The lanai is really spacious and private. From there we saw sharks, turtles, fish, a sting ray, and some kind of porpoise or dolphin. It was amazing. In addition to being steps away from two different uncrowded beaches and right on a great snorkeling spot, you are in walking distance to the grocery store, food trucks, resorts, happy hours, and restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We are from Canada with a deep interest for for travel. Traveling around the world has made us appreciate the good art of hosting to make one's holiday memorable with the warmth of your home away from home. We love to redecorate and make what would otherwise just be a place to stay to feel more like home.

We love hearing about the stay our guests have as we definitely enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests have a great experience

We first visited Maui in 2017 and absolutely fell in love with the area and residents. We've always had amazing experiences on the Island and have only encountered the Aloha spirit-we've never had a bad experience here. As we continued to visit the Island we realized that we could put our travelling experience to good use as hosts in Maui.

We have two children (18 and 22) and enjoy our time with them. We love everything outdoors (which is one of the reasons Maui is so appealing to us). We look forward to hosting you and your family in our condo ☀️🌴🤙🌊

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We really enjoy each area on Maui but somehow always gravitated to the West. The scenery is lush and the pace is slow.

We chose this area and condo specifically for a few reasons:

1. We love the Kaanapali/Kahana area. Its truly a blend of developed commercial amenities mixed with a raw local feel. You can go shopping at Whalers Village (very commercial) to visiting local farmer's markets all in the same area. The area also provides everything a person could possible need within walking distance which was important to us.

2. The condo is ocean front. Its proximity to the pacific ocean and amazing views are just amazing. Its so incredibly relaxing and refreshing to sit on the lanai and see, feel and hear the ocean all day long!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Hands down the view of pacific ocean from the enclosed lanai sets us apart from other properties. No other property on Maui is this close to the ocean. It just provides for a real zen feel. From watching sunsets to turtles to whales-its just incredible!
