This property is amazing. The whole staff at MKV is amazing and really helpful. The grounds are pristine, the pool area is great and Castaway Cafe serves great drinks and an amazing breakfast. A short 100 foot walk from the pool is a beautiful beach with the best sunsets in the world. 5-10 minutes away from countless shops and restaurants in Kaanapali and Lahaina.

We didn't realize the room was on the ground floor, which was amazing especially because it wasn't next to the noisy pool. However, there was only one bed and a pullout couch, which made things cramped for three adults. We appreciated the closeness of the parking lot to the room and the excellent snorkeling next-door at Airport Beach.

Overall positive

We recently stayed here and were pleased to discover the pictures were accurate to the location. It was great being right on the beach, access to the pools, and having the onsite restaurant/bar. The only issue we had was to find that our room had a few roaches and bugs upon arrival. We were careful not to leave out any of our food due to this.

Clean and quiet.

Relaxing property

Awesome Stay!

This place is in a great location close to a lot of places to visit. Less than a 5 minute drive in either direction you’ll find great food, drinks, and shopping. The place was very nice and clean. The shower is huge. The beach equipment that was included were nice to have. It’s an easy walk to the beach. Also, along the beach is a really nice boardwalk to explore. The only hiccup was the check in at the front counter took a lot longer than it should have, but overall a very great experience. We highly recommend.

Great Property, Beach, and Location

No complaints. Great beach, quiet surroundings, two nice pools, and it was nice having Castaways for quick apps, drinks, and easy button dinners. Perfect location as the other side of Black Rock is much more crowded. We will be back.

Maui bliss

This unit was a spacious, bright studio with a very comfortable king size bed. Beautiful Hawaiian foliage provided a splendid view from the lanai and the amazing golden sand beach was a 4 minute walk from the unit.

This studio looks just like in the pictures. The bathroom area was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There were 3 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas (one was broken, but we didn’t realize it until our last day - not a big deal as we were able to figure out a way to make it work). The morning coffee in the lobby was much appreciated and quite good! The walk to the beach was 3-4 minutes, which was nice! We enjoyed our stay!

Great Location on Kaanapali Beach!

Aside from a bit of confusion at check-in regarding the unit location, we loved this accommodation on Kaanapali Beach. Steps to one of the most perfect beaches on the island, the condo is well situated within an area of great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The unit itself was spotlessly clean, with all the amenities one would need for a week in paradise - beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers included! We will happily stay here again on a future visit to Maui!

Great resort

Kaanapali Villas is a special place with incredible snorkeling just down the beach. Have stayed there several times over many years. No knowledge of our reservation when we went to check in. Resolved but awkward and not what we needed arriving tired… Good bed and nice studio, although over- perfumed with diffusers we had to put outside. They were still a problem. Appliances fine but could use more utensils and a little foil or waxed paper would have been very welcome. Needed instructions for Thermostat. Location fine but bad traffic noise from highway. Light out over stove and one of ceiling lights as well making cooking somewhat challenging. Very clean and nice welcome note and treats. All problems but the traffic noise can be easily remedied. Hopefully they will be.

Maui 2023

This was our first time to Maui and the experience was unbelievable! The unit we stayed in was even nicer than the pictures… immaculate and pretty much everything you need! Having a pool on site (which is beautiful) and private beach you can’t ask for anything more! Parking can be a little trying at time because there is reserved parking for the regulars, but we did always seem to find a spot just down a little ways. It was great and easy to stop at Costco and the grocery store after getting out of the airport to stock up on snacks, water and little essentials for the week. Remember you have to pay for bags in Hawaii… we learned the hard way and didn’t bring any from home. There are 2 nice beach chairs and a small cooler provided. Beach towels are provided by the Villa on check in and can be exchanged for clean ones. There is a separate location to do laundry since there isn’t one within the unit. I decided not to use this since it was just my husband and I. Check in and out was easy and the staff was very friendly! We look forward to staying here again!

Great Kaanapali Villa

We just love kaanapali Villas and enjoyed being on the ground floor with the patio. This particular condo has a very comfortable bed. Great television, great streaming video. Wonderful appliances in the kitchen. My only suggestion and I’m not trying to be negative is a couple of good steak. Knives in the drawer would be helpful. We did quite a bit of barbecuing and I could’ve use some steak knives but everything else was perfect. Mahalo

great property with quick access to the beach

we loved it here, view from our particular room wasn't anything to write home about but 2 min from the room we were poolside and another few min to be on the beach so couldn't complain; we could however tell other rooms would have great beach views.. room was nice, shotgun kitchen when you walk in, big bathroom for changing, and big bedroom/living room.. great for the cost for sure.. our friends stayed about a 7min walk up the beach so it was easy to meet up with them..
