Group Retreat

The house was lovely and it had so many amenities. Communication with Joe was great. We spent some time outside by the water in the heated pool and it felt like we were on vacation!

Pricey, yet amazing value for the money …

An amazing waterfront property that pleases the eye from the minute one steps in to the minute we stepped out.Our group had specific requirements - 10 adults, booking at short notice, a property that needed to be memorable. This property ticked all of this and more.Every part of the home and the waterfront is well maintained and in full working condition. The property felt luxurious and spacious for the 10 member group. The highlight was the waterfront & the library of WW2 books.pricey but completely worth it.

On the lake

Our stay at Joseph’s beautiful house on the lake far exceeded our expectations for a quick trip. The pool was very refreshing on the hot days/nights. Everything that we could have needed was included. We felt very safe and comfortable in the neighborhood, especially with the kids in our group. We will definitely be back when we make our way to Louisiana again!

Beautiful home!

We started out with a hiccup, but the host Joe was quick to respond and help us to find the right location. We really enjoyed our stay on the lake! My family fished every chance they got! Love the pier!

Fantastic place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication with the host was easy and quick. The house is located in the perfect spot on the lake, yet not far from town and amenities. The house was extremely clean and the pool was a Godsend. We're looking for another excuse to go back for another stay!

AMAZING!!

This vacation was better than I even expected. My family and I were there for just shy of two full weeks. and I could have stayed so much longer. Our host, Joe, was beyond gracious. Even provided us with our first night's dinner. A FRESH CRAB BOIL!! Joe was readily available and immediately responsive with any issue that arose. The neighborhood was beautiful and the perfect location to be away from it all but close enough to see the sights and find entertainment. Sitting on that back porch watching the sun both rise and set each day was never a disappointment. Even when it rained, the lightening gave us quite a show. I would recommend this house and location to anyone and everyone who asked.

Perfect Location; Very Well Equipped House

This is a beautiful home in an ideal location! The house is the best equipped vacation rental I've ever stayed in and the kitchen had everything you need including all spices, paper products, Ziplocs, etc. Neighbors are friendly (and quiet) and the owner is very responsive prior to and during the stay. Do note there seems to be issues with VRBO's messaging system and be sure to use the owner email you get after booking for all further communication as our messages sent through the VRBO website itself were never received. Would absolutely stay here again!

The property was beautiful the host and his wife or prejudice against black people harassed us the

whole time lied on the introduction page saying that event was allowed and then when we get there they say that they didn't say that and said that it was in the house rules but you do not get the house rules until a hour before you check into the location after you've been book The Place months ahead of time the gentleman was very understanding but his wife was very rude just want anyone to know if they're looking to rent this place make sure you know all the details because they don't tell all or maybe just because the color of our skin we were handled that way could have been cleaner than what it was when we checked in deck and things was Dusty with cobwebs the back porch steps needs to be repair is very loose the pool deck feel like you can fall through it

This house was amazing! I came for my birthday and had the best day ever!! It was truly one of the best days I have had in a while amidst this pandemic. It’s the perfect getaway in Louisiana. The hosts were incredible and even gave me batteries when I needed it. They check in on me at least 3 times throughout my visit. The house was super well kept and clean. Highly highly recommend it. Beyond expectations

The photos online really don’t do it justice. The home is absolutely stunning! You can feel the love the owners put into this house. You also have everything you need to cook your traditional Cajun foods. I’ve stayed at many places across the country and now this one is the only one I want to stay at.
