This waterfront home has all you want with AMAZING sunrise and sunset views over Bayou Sauvage and Lake Pontchartrain. With a stunning oversized great room and deck, there is something for everyone. We are only a 28 minute drive from New Orleans French Quarter! Relax on the back deck or in the hot tub while looking at a beautiful horizon. Go for a swim. Take out the kayaks. If you don’t want to get on a boat, fish and crab from the dock or chill in a hammock swing. The oversized living room and kitchen feature spectacular views. It is a great place to relax or watch a game. You’ll be camping in style at the Pelican View

Property was wonderful, we would definitely stay there again. Further drive to bourbon street, but with a rental car was fine. We instacarted all groceries to drive less, it was really convenient!

Great Place and Fantastic Hosts

We recently stayed here for Spring Break with our family. The house layout is awesome and Henry took care of us from the start, was easy to communicate with and helped teach us to trap crabs.Would absolutely stay again!

Great getaway

This property is in a great location, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to get to any of the attractions you would like to visit. The house is very comfortable and homey. Henry was a delight to deal with and so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Amazing!!

This property was great and exactly what we were hoping. We were greeted at checkin and shown the property. Henry was great to work with during the stay and he even helped show us how to crab while we were there. Could not have asked for a better Place or experience than this!

I am a New Orleans native that loves the outdoors as much as the city. My family loves the quick trip to escape the city and enjoy our "Sportsman's Paradises", one of Louisiana's nicknames. One of my many joys is watching my children play on the water while catching fish, blue crabs or kayaking. It's so nice to see them detached. Truth be told, it is nice that I detach with them.

If you want beautiful waterfront views, with very few neighbors, this is your place. We are nestled in Bayou Savage National wildlife refuge. It is conveniently located near Lake's Pontchartrain, Saint Catherine, Borgne as well as the rigolets. A boat launch is just .5 miles away. We have connections with local fishing guides that will pick you up on the dock.

As much as we anticipate you will want to enjoy being on the water, we are conveniently 25 minutes from the French Quarter and Louisiana's famous cuisine. There are only a few places this close to the city of New Orleans. In addition to all the things you can do at the property, golf, museums, city park, shopping are near by.
