Propiedad frente al mar en Awahuri: la curva del río que sale del lago Taupo. Duerme 10-14. Gran casa de nueva construcción. Impresionantes vistas del río. Lleno de carácter y ambiente. Fantásticas cocinas, comedores y áreas de descanso, todas con vistas. Gran retiro durante todo el año para vacaciones de esquí / snowboard, natación de verano en aguas cristalinas del río, barbacoas o simplemente unas vacaciones relajantes. Muy soleado, cálido y acogedor. Gran chimenea de leña. Cerca de campos de esquí, piscinas calientes, paseos por los arbustos, pistas de bicicleta de montaña, etc.
Todas las habitaciones tienen vistas. 3 dormitorios en planta principal. 2 habitaciones en el piso de abajo (disponible si es necesario para números más de 6). $ 70 por persona adicional por noche sobre la base de 4. Un montón de tierra y espacio al aire libre. Mucho espacio para automóviles, botes, etc.
3-4 minutos en coche del pueblo, 10-15 minutos a pie del pueblo a lo largo del río.

Great Place in a Lovely Location

The place is both rustic and elegant, well-furbished with a terrific cook's kitchen. The views from the windows and the grounds are beautiful. A short hop into the vibrant town of Taupo for anything you might need including a whole lot of restaurants. The downstairs suite is great if you have a crowd.

Family reunion

Such a beautiful home for our family reunion. The property provided a perfect area for the kids to explore whilst the parents relaxed inside by the fire admiring the glorious view! Thank you, we had a fantastic weekend!

Friends weekend getaway

As a group of 8 girlfriends of many years, this beautiful home and property provided an amazing space for us to relax, catch up, prepare and enjoy meals, swim in the river, and appreciate the gorgeous surroundings. The house and its amenities made it super easy to be as a group, while also having ample space to rest and chill out. We highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a memorable group getaway.

Beautiful & Comfortable

This house was beautiful with lovely gardens & a spectacular view of the sunsets. The river was very close with a path along its edge. Inside it was very large & had everything we needed. Even though it was in a developed neighborhood, it felt very private & secluded. We loved it here. The owner was very responsive when we had questions too! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in an amazing location!

We had the best week staying at this beautiful home, nestled amongst nature, right on the river. The views were spectacular from anywhere in the house, there was so much room throughout the house that it catered well for all of us including the teenagers and it was located so close to central Taupo which was awesome. Sally was awesome with all communication, nothing was a problem :) We’ll definitely be back

The best place I’ve ever stayed!

The house was perfect for our family trip to Taupō. It was serene and beautiful inside and out. Well equipped and thoughtful touches. Plenty of space to spread out. The river is gorgeous and the best thing to wake up to in the mornings. Sally is an excellent communicator and responds quickly if needed. I would stay here again and again! Thanks so much Sally!! ♥️

Perfect spot

The house is gorgeous with everything you need. Over various levels it was perfect for our family reunion giving everyone space. The part of the river its on is one of the few areas you're allowed to fish in so that was very fortuitous for my fishing mad teenager. Sally was amazing when a sudden serious illness meant our group had to leave half way through our booking to get to Whangarei hospital. We were all sad to leave.

A glorious escape

The most wonderful holiday stay, with room for extended family. The river swimming was exactly what you need, when blessed with such sunshine and warmth in summer. Watching the flotillas of paddle boards, inflatable boats, unicorns, air beds and tyres fliatimg down the river is a delight. We popped a few manus in the deep pools of the river; rode bikes along the river to Huka Falls, or into town; sang joyously (though rather out of tune) around the fire pit; and ate too many pancake breakfasts. We’ll be back again!

The Mid Winter Crew

We had an awesome stay, we all loved the property and had a fun weekend. It was nice to arrive and the fire was set ready to light and plenty of firewood. The House was well equipped which made our weekend seamless - Thank you!

Brilliant house and location

House was gorgeous, very very well presented. Views spectacular. Location was awesome with a 15 minute walk along the river to town. No street noise. Owner couldn’t have been more helpful. Thouroughly recomended

Amazing spot for a group holiday!

We've just come back from a great weekend away at this property. We had to reschedule multiple times due to Covid and Sally was really understanding and excellent to deal with. The house was perfect for our group which was a mix of families with kids aged 1 - 8. Heaps of space for us all and really comfortable. Beautiful views. We hope to be back!

Karen's "significant" birthday celebration with family

The place was very suitable for our group of 9, 6 adults and 3 children. The place was similar in construction to our home in Titirangi were we lived for 47 years. Even some of the Crown Lynn crockery matched our original dinner set of which we still have a few plates. We were able to take in some of the sights and activities associated with Taupo, do some mountain biking and walk the dogs. We were appreciative of Sally allowing us to take the 3 lab's (whose homes were in the 2 utes). They are dogs who do not expect to come inside and so sleeping the utes they are quite used to......notwithstanding the frosts! We enjoyed meals out every night at a variety of restaurants most very good! It would be a place that we could recommend to others and may even return ourselves sometime in the future. Thank Sally. overa;; we had a very pleasant stay

WE WANNA GO BACK!

From the first time we viewed the listing, we knew it was the place for us! My three sisters, our Mum and I were travelling from various locations to celebrate Mum’s 80th birthday. Mum and I made the booking and kept the location a secret from the others. We were excited to arrive and see how perfect it was, and the girls were just thrilled when they arrived. We stayed end of June, so the wood burner was perfect! The wood pile just outside the front door was very handy. Kept us cosy the whole time. Heaters in all the bedrooms too. We even spent one whole day in the house due to the weather and we couldn’t have been more comfortable. We had a bedroom each, and with three bathrooms between us, there was no issue with queues! Lol! The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and utensils. We loved enjoying the beautiful views of the river every morning, although we never made it onto the walking track just out in front of the house. Sally was awesome to deal with, and we are super keen to come back for a summer break. Couldn’t recommend this properly enough.

Easter weekend luxury

Loved this house, it was more than the photos promised with so much space and those magical views. The garden was great too and we made the most of the sunny weather and easily moved the outdoor furniture around to make the most of following the sunshine. The river was a fun addition and very accessible as well as providing gorgeous views.

Perfection!

Last year we were blown away with this stunning property, this year we returned and again were blown away. The location is so beautiful and the house itself is absolutely gorgeous. Can’t fault it! I’m sure we will return in 2021!

Beautiful retreat

This is an amazing sanctuary set on the river banks near the head of the Waikato river. The retreat is beautifully appointed with everything you would need. It’s a short walk to Taupo. However you won’t want to leave as resting beside the river in this place is so peaceful. Thank you for having us in your family home.
