El paisaje marino está perfectamente posicionado para capturar vistas panorámicas de la Bahía Mercury y Whitianga y está ubicado en un hermoso fondo de arbustos rodeado de palmeras Nikau.

Perfecto para una escapada de invierno, acurrucarse junto al fuego de leña en el acogedor retiro de Lockwood.

Ideal para un máximo de 2 familias y un lugar difícil de superar: la diversión del verano puede ser tuya, con playas, paseos en bote, pesca y natación a solo unos minutos.

Ubicado en dos niveles, el piso de arriba ofrece una vida familiar generosa en un amplio diseño de Lockwood. Una cocina de planta abierta, un salón y un comedor que fluyen hacia la amplia y soleada cubierta envolvente. Usted tiene la opción de cenar en la puerta de la gran mesa de comedor de 8 asientos o en la terraza con vista a la bahía.

El gran dormitorio principal ofrece una cama King y 2 vestidores y vistas al mar. ¡Disfruta del desayuno en la cama y contempla la bahía! Hay un segundo dormitorio en la planta superior con 2 camas King individuales y un vestidor, con vistas al entorno natural de los alrededores. Arriba hay un gran cuarto de baño, inodoro y lavandería con lavadora, bañera y secadora.

En la planta baja hay una sala de estar / entretenimiento separada, dos habitaciones dobles y un baño. Un dormitorio cuenta con una cama Queen y una individual y el otro dormitorio tiene un conjunto de literas individuales y una litera doble / individual.

Nota: Ropa de cama y toallas no está incluido. Tendrá que traer sus propias sábanas, fundas de almohadas, toallas y paños de cocina.

Un área plana en la parte superior de la unidad ofrece un montón de estacionamiento en la calle y una agradable área de juegos para niños.

Un corto paseo de 300 metros de la casa es Brophy's Beach, que ofrece natación segura y una rampa para botes. A 5 minutos en coche del centro de Whitianga, podrá ir de compras o comer en alguno de los numerosos cafés, bares y restaurantes. También hay 2 supermercados en Whitianga para todas sus necesidades de comestibles.

I think this an excellent value for a large group considering it sleeps 12. The view is beautiful and shops and restaurants are a short 5-10 minute drive away. The driveway is a bit narrow and daunting going down at night but our mid size suv did fine. Really appreciate the many spices, oil, vinegar and even some flour, sugar and other baking needs. Decent dishes and glassware although a few pans are a bit past their prime. Communication with the host was excellent and much appreciated.

Great House In A Great Town

We loved both the house and Whitianga. The view is great from this quiet home on a dead end street. House is well stocked, spacious, and clean. The host was most helpful and we left already wanting to return.

The view was stunning - great place to relax

This was an excellent place to stay for our large group. Having the upstairs and downstairs arrangement means there’s plenty of space for everyone. You’ll never tire of the view, even at night seeing all the lights in the bay. The house was clean and tidy and we had a fabulous time.

Great place for a few couples

Lovely house and extremely well equiped. We loved the coffee machine. Driveway was very step and as house was tucked into the hillside was not as sunny as I had thought. Well located and views to die for. Would recommend.

Was very pleased with premises. Only fault we saw was 1 of the power points in the kitchen needed repairing. Otherwise everything was great , view was awesome andvthe downstairs wifi kept dropping out.

A relaxing and peaceful break

We had a very relaxed stay at this place! The views were spectacular! Close proximity to the beach was an added convenience. Property is very well maintained and excellent for big groups, a large family or more than one family! The host was flexible with our check out, which helped us have a more leisurely morning. Definitely look forward to going back over the summer months! Just one thing though! The drive way was a bit slippery due to the rain and needed cleaning.

Whitianga Paradise

The property and the location were perfect for what we needed. The house has the most amazing view and was set up with everything we needed for our stay. I couldn’t fault the owner’s communication and flexibility. Our original trip was booked for visitors from Wellington, Gisborne, Tauranga, UK and Bermuda, for Easter 2020, and had to be rescheduled twice. The owner was helpful and adaptable throughout the process, and, although we still didn’t make it happen as originally planned, we had a fantastic couple of days in Whitianga. Thank you, Warren.

Getaway

Two families with young children, setup is perfect for two families to still have their own space, however need to be vigilant with the stairs at the front which don’t have sides. Bottom living area hob was not functioning so might need looking at. Not the best driveway if looking to bring a boat/trailer as it is too steep. View is amazing & local native birds including wood pigeons in the trees are a treat.

Great property with beautiful views.

The property was as described. Accommodation was excellent, particularly on the upper floor where the views across the bay and spaciousness were much appreciated. The native "forest" at the side and rear of the property added to the feeling of seclusion and excitement. There was ample parking for 4 + cars, although access to the steep drive might be limited for low clearance vehicles or those with a significant overhang, which may "bottom" at the the junction between drive and road. A Holden estate just cleared (by 2 inches) but the boat trailer was left on the road as was a medium sized camper van. This did not present any problems as there was space and the neighbours were agreeable. The latch on the child proof balcony gate needs attention but was functional.

Incredible!

The photos don't do the place justice! We had a group of 10 ages ranging from 6-50. The views are incredible, the rooms are spacious and all the facilities work well! Warren communicates very simply which I love, just in and out no surprises or interruptions. One thing I’m wary about are the quality of furniture/ Utilities but their bunk beds, chairs, kitchen equipment were all of good quality. Nothing fragile that may come up later. The house is very spacious and you get a lot of privacy from neighbours etc! Feels like your very own cabin. However, the only caution is that the drive way is very steep and not very suitable for long vans as they may scrape the concrete. Definitely would recommend :-)
