Our stay at this apartment was wonderful! The location was perfect and the apartment was just as described. There were many stairs to climb on our way up (we were on the 4th floor), which got a little tiresome. It is also on a busy street, which didn’t bother us, but was a a little noisy at times. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay here.

Clean and cozy, perfect for 2 colleaugues work trip

The aparment and stair case, everything was clean, cozy, and warm (there was an option to turn on the heating as it was -4 degrees outside), providing a sense of security. Sharing the apartment with a colleague was super convenient, each having our own bathroom and toilet. While the vibrant pedestrian street outside made some nights a bit noisy, my regular work trips to Paris have equipped me with earplugs, making it manageable.

Excellent location and cute apartment but...

The location of the apartment is the absolutely perfect! It is VERY close to bus/Metro, Notre Dame, near Seine river and many other main attractions and beautiful places within the walking distance. Great number of restaurants and cafes around. In fact even the street where apartment is located is full of small restaurants, cafes, bars, ice-cream shop, tourist shops, bakeries, which is convenient on one hand but also makes this a very busy street during the day and night. We were concerned about the noise in the beginning but it turned out to be OK. The apartment is on the top floor and with closed windows you do not hear much of the outside noise. We only kept it open one night as it was beautiful live music from the bar downstairs, but most of the time we kept it closed. There were "little" things like fans were not prepared on the day we arrived ( as it was summer and AC was only on the second floor) and almost no toilet paper in the bathrooms.. but it was fixed the next day. As a plus, communication with the management and check-in and check-out process were very easy. Thank you for that. The only problem for us was that eventhough the apartment itself is very cute, clean, with nice details and does have sleeping space for 6 people, the size of the place is very small for 6 people to move around. The toilet rooms ( separate from the bathroom) are VERY small, especially bigger person might feel very uncomfortable. Another point there were very steep small stairs to the second floor, we had to leave all our suitcases on the first floor as it would be difficult to take them to the upper bedroom. Also there is a tiny elevator to the top floor in the building but to get to the elevator there is one flight of steep stairs. Overall we had a pleasant stay with some inconveniences but I would say the location is unbeatable.

Paris perfection!

The location was absolutely perfect. Central to sites, next to metro and endless food possibilities. There's nightlife outside but sleeping on 5th floor was not a problem. Will definitely return!

Manager Unresponsive and Apt above a LOUD Bar

We have rented properties throughout Europe, the US, and Central America. This property is above a very loud bar which is open until 4am. The property manager did not answer important questions after asking us for information. We discovered the most outrageous list of cleaning requirements we have ever encountered after arriving at the property, including "scouring baths and mopping floors" with the blurb that "we signed a contract" acknowledging these requirements - which we never did and I could not subsequently locate that on the VRBO website. The page suggested we call and pay for a cleaning service if we were unwilling to clean it. We did our best and we always leave places clean, but since there wasn't even a mop there, .... (In fairness, we apparently were not charged a cleaning fee, but we hadn't noticed that in the list of fees, but would have preferred realizing the requirements beforehand). As disturbing was that the manager emailed and asked when we planned to leave so "someone could meet us to check out and get the key." We responded that we needed to leave by 8am to make our flight and asked to please let us know if we needed to return the key to the pick-up place. This was 5 days before leaving. No response. The night before leaving, we again emailed and asked if someone was coming in the morning and when. No response. The apartment itself is charming and comfortable, minus that the shower needed deep cleaning for black mold. But between the noise, management, and cleaning required, we would not recommend this place at all.
