Welcome to Barbara Beach Lakehouse, our peaceful family cottage!

Perfectly situated on Benoir Lake located in between Haliburton and Bancroft. Our 4-season family friendly (pets welcome!) cottage has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Newly renovated, our lake house blends classic charm with modern upgrades. We’ve carefully considered every detail to create a place where you and your family can have the perfect holiday and make forever memories.

The cozy interior has a newly designed open main floor – a kitchen, dining area, living space with a wood stove. Enjoy lake scenes from the dining area, have a cozy Netflix session on the couch, play board games, or lose yourself in a good book in front of the fire.

There's lots to do outside at the cottage. In the summer you and your family can enjoy canoeing, paddle boarding, some great spots to fish and just enjoying playing on the sandy beach and swimming in the lake. Lounge on the front or back decks, as you follow the sun. Enjoy the flat yard, a perfect spot for bocce ball, cornhole or ladder golf. As night falls, head to the dock to take in the most spectacular sunset over the lake then gather around the fire pit for s'mores , a perfect end to your day.

The cottage is equally beautiful in the winter. Serene and tranquil. The big pines heavily blanketed in snow, it is truly a magical setting. The frozen lake is perfect for skating. There are beautiful walking trails for snowshoeing and it is most definitely a snowmobile hotspot.
