Welcome to "Moonta Bay Escape".

Moonta Bay Escape is perfectly located just a short stroll from the Beach, Moonta Bay Jetty and Splash Town Water Park.

A freshly renovated and beautifully decorated 2 Bedroom house ideally suited to your family seaside getaway.

The main bedroom is air-conditioned, roomy and features a cosy queen bed, a mirrored dresser and hanging space for clothing and personal items.

The second bedroom is air-conditioned, features a single over double bunk bed and a trundle bed sleeping a maximum of four. Cube storage with drawers and hanging space is provided for clothing and personal items.

The house features a stylish and inviting 2 way bathroom and a separate toilet.

The kitchen is well equipped, featuring an electric stove and range hood, Nespresso coffee machine (some pods supplied) and a selection of Teas.

Living/dining room is air conditioned and is comfortably cool in summer and wonderfully warm in winter.
Living room features a comfortable modular lounge, 65" TV with integrated Netflix (BYO a/c details) and FTA TV, Chromecast and a DVD/surround sound system with a selection of DVD movie titles. Or you may choose to relax and recline in the cosy reading (or napping!) nook.
Dining room features an inviting space at the table for 6 diners.

Laundry features a washing machine (some detergent supplied), clothes dryer and cordless vacuum cleaner.

Free WIFI is provided and hard wired (and battery backed) smoke detector is fitted.

The detached Games Room/3rd Bedroom is air-conditioned and features a sofa bed that can sleep an additional 2, and conveniently has an adjacent toilet and hand wash basin. There is also a dartboard on the wall and darts are provided.

A Weber Family Q gas BBQ/Grill is provided for outdoor cooking.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY -
Bath towels, tea towel, pillows (with protectors and covers), mattress protectors and fitted bottom sheets are included and provided at no extra cost for the number of guests booked.

Optionally, we can also provide you with quilts, quilt covers and top sheets for an additional $15 per bed.

Driveway parking is available for up to 3 cars or 2 cars and a boat. Property rear access is NOT accessible to guests.

Amazing hosts with excellent communication from start to finish. The house was immaculate and it was clear the hosts had thought of everything. The games corner with books and DVDs was a huge hit with our kids! The location was perfect, just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, splash town, playground, and café. We’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed, family-friendly getaway.

Very conveniently located. All the rooms are very clean. Abundant of entertainment for kids. The only thing is there were only about two days of worths of supply so we had to shop to get a few things such as toilet paper rolls, laundry tablets and coffee capsules from the lovely local Drakes. Otherwise perfect from all perspective.

The setup of the house has been exceptionally well thought out and it was the little things that made our stay special like the courtesy lighting around the house so we could easily find our way in at night and the hose out the front to wash down our paddle board when we got back from the beach to the dyson to help clean up some of the sand which makes it's way into the house.The kitchen was great with a breakfast nook. The beds were very comfortable. The main living area contained a massive couch and a recliner with good selection of board games, books and dvd's and a large smart tv. The nautical themed wall hangings, pictures and decor made this a house we really loved living in. The kids even noticed the micro shells stuck to some random exterior bricks.

Great house, great location

Beautiful house, immaculately clean and had everything that we needed. Location is great just a short walk down to the beach and splashtown.

Great stay by the beach

This is a beautifully presented little home very close to the Moonta Bay Jetty. Very clean and equipped with everything you need. Communication with the host was fantastic!

Overall, this is a lovely, very clean and beautifully styled home with great amenities and excellent communication from the hosts. The location is fantastic — just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and Splashtown — and the main house is very comfortable, with great beds, a cosy couch, soft towels, a lovely bathroom with an excellent shower, and a nice selection of books, games and DVDs. Sleep was a bit tricky, however: bright security lights stayed on all night and came through the blinds - coming from the country where our nights are pitch black this made it very hard to get to sleep - curtains or blackout blinds would have made it much more tolerable. Also the fence at the side of the room outside is broken and squeaks on the side wall all night, and the bed out there was not very comfortable unfortunately. Otherwise a really enjoyable stay, our children had an absolute blast!

Mint little spot

Fantastic place run by great people. Communication was excellent, the place was spotless and really well thought out and setup. Minutes to the jetty and beach, the kids had a great time.

Family time

Relaxing stay

Very clean and comfortable home.Just around corner from the jetty, splash park for families with kids.Ye Old Cafe, yummy meals when you don't cook.Great spot to be central when visiting Wallaroo, Port Hughes, Kadina and beautiful beaches. Good communication with owners.

The property was very lovley and clean with all the amenities you could ask for and more.The beach is located only a few minutes down the road and the main centre only a short drive away offering lovely restaurants and cafes.Frank was very responsive in answering any questions and queries we had. Although it was mostly raining during our stay the kids were kept entertained with the Board games, Movies and Books available at the property. We wil be sure to come back during the warmer months. Great winter escape!

Great find

We had a wonderful week in this charming cottage. Newly listed on Stayz, Frank & Carol have thought of the little things that make a difference to your stay. From the recipe books to the sound system to the plush towels, and a kitchen packed with enough cooking items that makes home entertaining a breeze. It's only a 15 min drive from the Port Hughes boat ramp & a 6 minute lazy walk to Moonta Beach. We've already rebooked!

Hi there, we are Frank and Carol. We are Adelaide born and bred and like many Crow-eaters have had a long and deep connection with Moonta Bay. We roamed and swam the beaches and fished the jetties here as kids and enjoy it just as much today as we did 50+ years ago. It is our pleasure to allow you the same opportunity to experience this special place for yourselves, your family and your friends.

The magnificent coastline, sandy white beaches and safe swimming environment are instant draw cards. A morning walk along the beach. Dropping a line at either Moonta or Pt Hughes jetty and later enjoying the freshest seafood possible. Cycling around the Moonta Bay, Moonta town, Pt Hughes and even to Wallaroo on the bike track if you feel energetic enough. Watching the sunset and the incredible colours that paint the sky.
