Spacious, private cottage just a few minutes walk to Ridgevale Beach!

Summer living less than a 1/2 mile from one of Cape Cod's best beaches! This home offers room to spread out, with living and sun rooms, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths across 1,250 square feet. The wraparound deck is the perfect place to share a meal after a day spent exploring the beaches, bike paths, and shopping areas of Chatham. Cathedral ceilings in sunroom and master. Sleeps 6 very comfortably. Enjoy a private setting just off the main beach road, nestled on a low-traffic loop street with conservation land behind the home.

The home's amenities include keyless smart lock entry, central air conditioning, 55-inch ultra HD TV with YouTube or fubo TV, and a desk and chair setup in the master bedroom. Freshly-laundered bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are provided.

Outside, you'll find Adirondacks on the front-yard patio, private outdoor shower with rainfall head, and table seating for 6 on the back deck with Sunbrella umbrella and Weber gas grill.

In the shed, you'll find a beach cart, four beach chairs, and various beach toys for your use. Bikes are not provided but can be stored in the shed (1 minute bike ride to the beach!).

The home has a Nest video doorbell at the entryway and a Google Home display device inside the home for your use. WiFi was upgraded in late 2023.

Recent updates include new roof, new windows throughout the original cottage; new quartz countertop, sink and tile in the kitchen, and renovated bathrooms. Book soon!

We spent a long weekend in October at this property. The house was quite clean and very comfortable, all the basic necessities were provided for the kitchen and laundry, as well as shampoo, conditioner and bath soap.

Such a great week - the home was wonderful & so thoughtfully appointed we lacked for nothing & so just spent our time enjoying our stay. The neighborhood was friendly and the beach so wonderful to explore with the marsh creek entering, especially at low tide. Perfect vacation!

Great house in a wonderful location

We had a wonderful week at this property. We stay for a week at the cape every year and always pick properties with high ratings for cleanliness and this was the cleanest of them all! It was perfect for 4 adults & 2 kids. The kitchen was well equipped and well organized. Because the property was so great we didn’t need to contact the host during our stay however he was highly responsive to questions I had ahead of time leading up to check in. We walked to the beach multiple times but to visit the beach for the day it still made sense to buy a beach pass and drive since it would be too far to walk with all our beach gear. The outdoor shower was one of the nicer ones we have used and made rinsing off post-beach easy and relaxing! The washer and dryer seemed brand new and it was nice to do laundry without having to go into a basement. We had fun reading & writing in the guest book at the end of our trip and we were sad to leave!

Family week at the Cape

My family and I had a wonderful late summer week at the Private Cottage at Ridgevale Beach - Chatham. The house was perfect for the 6 of us with plenty of space to accommodate some work days. The house was meticulously clean and well equipped for a week or longer stay. Chris was great to work with and very responsive. Will stay again in future.

Great Vacation Rental

In excellent condition, comfortable and well appointed. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Food sources and restaurants are very accessible. I have rented several vacation houses over the years and this by far beats them all!

4th of July Vacation

We had a wonderful week of the 4th. The house was perfect; great lay out, equipped with everything we needed & beautifully updated and extremely clean. We felt right at home. We especially loved the convenience of walking to the beach (thanks for providing the wagon!). Highly recommend!

Perfect in every way!

Very clean, spacious, comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Information provided was perfect, easy to read, just what we needed. Easy walk to the beach. Highly recommend Marion's Pie Shop and Impudent Oyster Restaurant.

Comfy cottage

We just spent one week at the cottage this Summer and had a wonderful family time here. The house is very clean and well equipped with towels, sheets, beach umbrella and chairs. The deck and backyard provides a nice place for kids to run around and for family bbq/dinner time. The neighborhood is quite private and quiet. Very easy walk to the beach. Easy communication with the owner. Beth and Chris left very detailed instructions and even included a thoughtful list of local restaurants/activities. My parents and young kids all loved our time here. Would love to come back next Summer!

Cape Summer Break

We had a wonderful stay. We haven't spent time on the Cape since my oldest was a toddler in 2016. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. We appreciate all the beach stuff and not having to bring our own. Being able to walk to the beach with 2 kids was perfect. Would love to come back!

July 4th Vacation

We stayed in this Chatham home for a week with our daughter and her partner. We gave them the very large master bedroom suite with king bed, large closet, private bathroom and laundry area. They felt very spoiled and loved their private space. We appreciated the generous amount of towels, kitchen items and blankets/sheets. This home was extremely clean upon arrival. My husband really enjoyed the outside shower.

Thanksgiving weekend in Chatham

We have been coming to Chatham for over 30 years. We absolutely loved this vacation home. The owners thought of everything. The house was extremely comfortable and wonderful location. I would highly recommend this vacation home.

Lovely little house

We came to Chatham in October for a soccer tournament and were so lucky to find this place! It's impeccably clean, cute, stylishly decorated and well equipped. It had all the things we might need, towels, paper products, laundry detergent and a well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood and while we weren't here during summer we did take a walk down the beach which was easy to access. It was perfect for our family of four.

The best of all worlds! You can easily walk to the beach, but at the end of the day you're back at a very private property on a quiet loop street that sees very little traffic. Not a beach day? Then the bike trail is less than a mile away!

Sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee, you feel like you are officially on vacation, especially on those days when you hear the surf crashing just beyond the marsh.
