The house had excellent amenities and was very spacious. Having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made it really suitable for our whole family group. We had Christmas there so we really appreciated the large oven.

We loved the property and would happily stay here again. It was very spacious, and we really liked the split-level layout. The air conditioning was excellent.Just a few small things that would be helpful for future stays:• Only one garbage bag was provided• Additional dishwashing tablets would be useful• Scissors in the kitchen• A portable clothesline would be great• A larger dining table – only 6 of the 8 of us could sit together• Bar stools around the kitchen benchOverall, a great place to stay and we really enjoyed our time there.

Summer Getaway

The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well designed for 8 people. Host was very generous in providing clean sheets, towels, soap, dishwashing and laundry liquid. We found plenty of glassware, however it needs more cutlery and kitchen utensils suitable for 8 people ie larger saucepan, big people forks and knives, placemats so you don't damage dining table with hot food.Unfortunately the biggest issue was the Internet or their lack of. Initially the TV in the main lounge did not have the free to air channels, and it required to search and download them, unbeknown to us to do that until Monday evening (as we thought the lack of channels was internet related), free to air channels and TV should be set up for guest stay. We were advised on day 4/5 of 6 day stay that the internet issue was attributed to NBN.A beach holiday after swimming all day is to unwind at night and stream movies or shows, that was not possible at this house, it frankly spoilt the holiday. The compensation provided of 100 a night was welcome but fell short.It's misleading to advertise internet connection and wifi availability and to not know that there was an issue prior to guest stay, I also found it frustrating that I was told I should have made contingency plans for wifi as internet cannot be guaranteed - that should have been made aware to me prior to making a booking not via sms once the issue was detected and raised with your office. I was made to feel I was at fault not the other way around.

We understand how important a reliable internet connection is, especially for unwinding in the evenings. Unfortunately, as you noted, the slow speeds were due to an issue with NBN, which was beyond our control. However, we did everything possible to assist, including having a technician attend the property and lodging a work order with NBN. We sincerely regret the inconvenience this caused during your stay. Regarding the TV setup, we’d like to clarify that all TVs are fully functional. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding additional kitchen items and tableware. We will certainly review the cutlery, utensils, and placemats to enhance the dining experience for future guests.
