Thank you so much for this wonderful, detailed review! We’re thrilled you had a fantastic stay at Villa Becune and that the host could make your visit so comfortable. We work hard to keep the home updated with modern comforts while preserving its island charm, so it means a lot that you noticed the effort that goes into it. One small note on the beach just a 4 minute walk away — that’s actually the full length of the beach fronting the Royalton resort, and like all beaches in Saint Lucia it’s open to the public, so guests aren’t limited to just the small strip near the pool. It’s worth walking further down, where you’ll also find jet skis and other water sport rentals available right on the beach, plus restaurant options at the Royalton resort that guests can book and pay for directly. That said, we’re so glad you also discovered the Pigeon Island/Sandals beach — it’s a fantastic spot for swimming, snorkeling, and watersports, and we love that your family made the most of it. Gros Islet’s location really does put so much of the island within easy reach. Thank you again for choosing Villa Becune and for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback.
