Albatross Nest personifica la vida de estilo caribeño con impresionantes vistas de 180 grados desde las terrazas abiertas y elevadas de la propiedad. Disfrute de bebidas mágicas al atardecer con vistas a la isla de Martinica en una dirección y al Parque Nacional Pigeon Island y Rodney Bay en la otra.

Albatross Nest es nuestra casa de ensueño: vistas perfectas, arquitectura distintiva de planta abierta, edificios tradicionales de tejas del Caribe y un hermoso jardín tropical. Disfruta del encanto clásico de los pies descalzos y escucha los sonidos de la naturaleza y el mar debajo.

La propiedad está aislada y ofrece una privacidad perfecta: solo se alquila a una sola fiesta / grupo. Su diseño significa que es igualmente adecuado para 2 personas tanto como para grupos más grandes de hasta 8 personas.

La villa fue diseñada por el arquitecto Robertson Ward, quien diseñó el hotel original Sandy Lane en Barbados. Tres edificios están unidos por pasarelas cubiertas alrededor de la gran piscina central privada. El diseño es perfecto para un estilo de vida tropical al aire libre y la piscina está atravesada por un puente atractivo que crea un ambiente romántico.

Albatross Nest se encuentra en la esquina noroeste de Cap Estate, que generalmente se considera la principal zona residencial de St. Lucia

El establecimiento se encuentra a poca distancia en coche de la playa de Pigeon Island, la playa de Anse Du Cap y la playa de Cas en Bas. Our party of 6 really enjoyed the home, stunning views, attentive host who answers you quickly. We appreciated the security of the property and the location on Cap Estate. Easy traveling to nearby Rodney Bay and even Castries. the kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need. We cooked 4 dinners and ate 2 out. the quickest way to see the Pitons is to take a catamaran tour as the home sits far north on the island. Saint Lucia is mountainous, so our street and drive was rather steep.

Amazing house! Amazing location! Amazing views! This house was perfect for my husband and I and our three teenage children! Everyone had their own space and there was plenty of communal space. The sunsets were spectacular! Ivy was lovely and Kris was so helpful. St. Lucia may be the friendliest island we have visited. I would recommend Albatross Nest to everyone. Hopefully we’ll be back one day.

STUNNING VIEW!!!

We absolutely loved our stay. The view was heavenly. I can’t imagine there being a better view on the island. We spent several days in the pool and not leaving the villa a single time. Kris was wonderful, and very helpful with directions, recommendations and arranging excursions. The housekeeper, Ivy, was a delight to chat with each morning. She took good care of us! The villa is very unique and beautiful. We loved all of the flowers everywhere! It was stocked with everything we needed, including sunscreen and bug spray. We rented a car and my husband was able to get us around well, but I can see why they recommend getting a driver. The roads are pretty tricky to navigate, especially if you aren’t used to driving on the left side of the road. The only thing that was negative was the bugs. We got bit SO MUCH!! Even with the bug spray they were still biting us incessantly. We wound up hanging out and playing games each night in the master bedroom. Even with the bites, it was still an amazing trip and the view made it completely worth it!

June 2025 Stay

Stayed here on our honeymoon and it was everything the pictures show and more! Truly, this view is breathtaking and we couldn’t get over it. The pool is wonderful and the open seating area in the mornings and evenings is remarkably relaxing. Kris is wonderfully helpful and the staff also are just crazy nice and friendly as they keep the place immaculate! If you’re staying in the north of the island, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Peaceful Paradise with Stunning Views

Villa Albatros Nest was a dream. If you’re looking for peace, privacy, and lush natural beauty, this is the place. The property feels like your own private sanctuary—surrounded by gorgeous trees, flowering plants, and birdsong, with the ocean stretching endlessly out in front of you. On a clear day, you can even see all the way to Martinique. I could have spent every moment in that infinity pool, just soaking in the view.The layout of the villa is wonderful. Each bedroom feels separate and private, with its own personality and charm. The common areas are thoughtfully designed with a variety of cozy seating options—ideal for reading, dining, lounging, or just watching the light change over the sea.One thing to note: while the villa feels perfectly secluded, you’ll need a car or driver if you plan to go anywhere, as there are dogs on neighboring properties that make walking off the grounds a challenge. That said, we didn’t mind one bit—this was a place we were happy to stay put.Everything about Albatros Nest invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and just be. We left feeling completely recharged and already dreaming of our next visit.

Amazing Views

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Villa Albatross Nest. Communication with Kris was great leading up to the trip and during our stay. She helped with everything from arranging a chef, the rental car, groceries, and excursions. Truly top notch property management!The house itself was great as well. The open air concept was a bit of a concern at first, but the cool breeze at the top of the hill helped keep things cool day and night. We would definitely considering staying once again!PS

Idyllic destination

Myself and 3 female friends stayed at this Villa for 7 days. We wish we could have stayed a month. It is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed, competes with Positano. The 180 deg view will take your breath away any time of day or any weather. Kris was an excellent host, very responsive. Ivy was a delight and pleasure to see through the week. We had Eike cook us 2 meals and they were our best meals, he needs a Michelin star. We went down the hill to Body Holiday for a day (walking is taking your life in your hands), had 2 wonderful massause come in that were fabulous, very professional. We ate at Naked Fisherman and The Cliff, highly recommend both, and went to Rodney Bay for lunch and a little shopping. I highly recommend this idyllic place.

I would definitely advise reaching the villa during daylight hours. While the host’s directions were spot on, it is VERY dark and still hard to find. Once you arrive, you won’t be disappointed! The place has amazing views with exceptional outdoor living. Kris and Ivey took good care of us. If you rent Albatross Nest, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect outdoor living with perfect views

General gathering area is open on three sides with views that will take your breath away. Not just open ocean, but beautiful coast line and ocean during the day, direct sunset views, and views of the lights at night. Manager, housekeeper and gardener all super nice. Pre-stocking service was great. Had a chef in one night, and massages in villa. If you want to feel like you are immersed in a tropical vacation, this is maybe the best VRBO for that I have ever stayed in. Well priced for the luxury level, and we just kept shaking our heads about how open and beautiful the views are from the main gathering area. A stay you will remember for a lifetime.

60th birthday celebration

We had a lovely stay for 10 nights, the first 5 with friends joining and the last 5 on our own. Perfect location and set up for many with privacy or just us two. The view was the best. Always changing and beautiful. Cooked a lot of dinners at the house as the sunsets are great. Grocery stores are great and local fish easy to buy. Ivy (house cleaner) was sweet and with so much helpful island info. Kris (house manager) was super attentive and responded to minor toilet issue right off the bat. One of the best houses we’ve rented in last 10 years!

Perfect Girl’s Trip

We had a lovely stay at this property. Kris was super accommodating and had us set up for success when we arrived. We had a rental delivered to the property (we only drove it to the store twice, not sure it was necessary since we utilized the driver most of the week). We also had a first round of groceries available upon arrival. Highly recommend scheduling a chef while you are there as the food was amazing and we were all exhausted from the long day of travel and the long haul from the airport to the villa. However, it was worth it for the views.

Adventurous drive from UVF but worth the view and amenities

My extended family (8 adults total) and I had a wonderful time at Albatross Nest…it was an adventure getting there from UVF, a bit difficult to find the place once dark sets in, but once you are there the comfortable accommodations and one of the best views on the island make it all worth it !!! The bay, the blue water, the ships, the land formations, the lush vegetation, rainbows, and view of Martinique right from the personal pool or veranda make this place an amazing experience. The outdoor spaces are the epitome of R&R especially during our morning coffee. Our host was able to help us set up a massage for our group right at the VRBO which only added to our relaxation. We would not hesitate to stay here again if our travels bring us back to St. Lucia. Thank you Kris for a wonderful stay and for your hospitality !!!

Magnificent Vista

The Albatross Nest is an aptly named property on a ridgeline overlooking the ocean. The views are stunning from the very nice pool and other adjacent outside living areas. There were several different large furniture groupings that allowed multiple conversational areas, both out in the sun or under a roof. Our host Kris was quite helpful and responsive. We had quite a bit of fun in Gros Islet and the surrounding towns. This has the first time we stayed in an open concept Caribbean home. We were one with nature and it was lovely for most. One couple thought the nighttime jungle sounds imposed on their sleep; I embraced the serenade. One thought to keep in mind is that the roads in St Lucia can be very steep, slippery and rough. Remember to get a proper vehicle or use the nice driver that works for the Villa.

October Family Trip

The property was absolutely stunning, and Ivy, managers and the gardener were great! A heads-up for future guests: the driveway is a bit steep. We managed it with a van, but renting a jeep or truck or arranging a driver might be a better option. Download WhatsApp for easy communication. Bring DEET bug spray—the living room is open-concept, so it’s best to apply it while you’re there. Lastly, there’s a ferry from the south airport to the north that we wish we had known about—it could be a smoother alternative to driving the roads. Don’t miss the Pitons! We highly recommend a boat tour with Marlan Boat Tours to explore the mud baths, waterfalls, and the Pitons.

Stunning Albatross Nest!

Albatross was as beautiful in person as it was in pictures! The views were entrancing. The property was well kept and clean. Our just Kris was informative and answered all our questions! She booked trips and taxis for us which was so helpful. Ivy the housekeeper was a dear and so sweet. Really a pleasure to be around. The pool kept us cool on hot days, and it's beautiful at night.

Amazing Stay

Our family of 6 stayed here and it was perfect! Bedrooms were comfortable and the outdoor living was beyond what I was expecting. Kris (house manager) was wonderful! So accommodating and provided excellent recommendations. Ivy (house keeper ) is the sweetest! Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us while we were there but this villa and Kris’s recommendation for a boat day saved our vacation!

SLU Carnival

A group of 7 of us stayed at Albatross Nest for carnival 2024. We had an absolutely wonderful time and the pictures do not do the view justice. We had a car rental car but driving at night is tough if you do not know the roads. A few taxis had a hard time finding us but was not an issue once they dropped us once. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Kris Wagner professionally manages the property which belongs to an English couple who have been visiting St Lucia for the past 20 years. We fell in love with the island and after a very long search we finally found our dream home which we purchased in December 2009.
We look forward to being able to spend much more time in our beautiful home in St. Lucia when we retire but in the meantime we are making it available for holiday rentals when we are not there .

We have visited St. Lucia for many years and love the island. We fell in love with the stunning view, the lovely garden and the architecture of this property. We enjoy the variety of restaurants and beaches easily accessible from the property.

The property has one of the best sea views we have seen on the island. The sunset views are amazing. The property provides a restful, private location but good restaurants and a variety of activities are available within a ten minute drive.
