*Diamond Solitaire is the only 1-bedroom unit on the top floor of the 5-star Diamond Beach resort at the end of the famous Galveston Island seawall. The unit's private balcony has expansive views of the beach and 750' lazy river. The resort also has a 300' outdoor cascade pool, 2 hot tubs, indoor heated pool, cabanas and grills to reserve, sand volleyball court, stadium-seating movie theater, professionally-designed gym, game room with arcades, pool table, and more. The unit also has a Tempurpedic king bed, fold-out sofa in the living room, 2 TVs, well-stocked kitchen, WiFi, Amazon Echo and FireStick to keep you company or play your favorite movies or music. Diamond Solitaire is the perfect, upscale beach vibe rental.

Do NOT recommend

We ended up not even staying at this property. The owner’s description of the “expansive views of the beach” from the private balcony are not true. The Juliet balcony was maybe 5-6 feet across and enclosed in a corner of the building. While the unit itself was decorated well, there are literally no windows at all, other than the glass door to the small balcony. The owner supplied his cell number and was fairly responsive until I expressed concern. He then did not respond at all. Lastly, he kindly offered to leave us an island treat or drink, which was not there when we checked in. If you care at all about views of the beach, do not recommend.

Wonderful stay

Diamond Beach is a beautiful resort. Th condo was exceptional- cleanliness and many little extras making it feel like home- even had a decorated Christmas tree. Highly recommend this condo!!!

Ain't scared of no tropical storm

Didn't think it would turn into hurricane Beryl, but rode it out with my five year old grandson. Felt safe and secure during storm and grandson slept right through. We did get to enjoy the amenities the day before and can't wait for next trip back. Owners were great and more than accomodating.

Great Stay

Condo was wonderful for our 4 day stay. Kids enjoyed pool, beach and lazy river. Owner checked in several times to ask if we needed anything. Would definitely rent this condo again.

Great condo

This is the 2nd time we stayed in this condo. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and the condo is well stocked. The hosts are very gracious and easy to reach. Definitely going back next year. We were there on our honeymoon and they left us a card, roses and a bottle of champagne. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This is the cutest condo, perfect for a weekend getaway. It had everything you might need, was clean, and was decorated so cute. We relaxed and enjoyed the amenities. The lazy river was especially nice. Can’t wait to go back again!

Great Stay on the Island

My wife and I celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary. Fantastic place. Great pool and lazy river. The room has a great view and we would stay there again. We even got a little surprise from the owners. They were great hosts. Pam & Denny

Weekend Getaway!

It was a great weekend getaway for my husband and I! The condo is really cute, clean and very comfy, and had everything you would need. We loved the property and spent time on the beach as well as the lazy river. Lots of fun things close by. The owners were kind, informative and responsive. We will definitely be back and would definitely recommend.

Beach getaway

Awesome property with amazing views. The owners were great to deal with. Massive pool area and lazy river. The kitchen had everything you would need. There was even champagne waiting for our arrival. We can’t wait to return.

Excellent beach vacation!!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family beach vacation. The condo was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and then some! The pools and lazy river were a huge hit with our kiddos. There was easy access to the beach from the property. Our view from the 7th floor was breathtaking. The owners checked in on us and gave some great recommendations along with a special sweet treat for the kiddos! 5 stars all around!

Perfect Getaway

This was our second time staying at Diamond Beach Club. This particular property was very clean,comfortable, and perfect for our little family of three. The owners went above and beyond with suggestions for restaurants, and basic things around the island. You can tell that they really care that the people staying in their home have a really great time. It was another wonderful Galveston vacation for us.

The owners are local islanders. This unit has been a personal home (for a time), beach vacation home, and has been rented out to friends and family (with the occasional paying guest). If you want to know a good local place to eat, wining-&-dining are their expertise so feel free to ask for recommendations.

The condo rentals are under new management and is being updated for a fresher 'beach vibe feel'. Even during this transition, the unit is spectacular and the upscale Diamond Beach amenities and location are superb for a beach vacation. It is perfect for a couple's retreat or a small family getaway.
