This one-of-a-kind majestic log home estate is situated on a secluded 20 acres. The layout is perfect for multiple families or a group of friends traveling together. The estate is great for entertaining and taking in the mountain views through its large windows and open floor plan. You'll find everything you need to be completely relaxed during your stay. The house is a perfect choice for a ski vacation with Bromley Ski Resort 5 minutes away, Stratton 22 minutes away and Okemo 30 minutes away. In the summer, enjoy the swimming pool and numerous hiking and cycling trails nearby. The estate is also just 15 minutes away from the town of Manchester with a wide selection of restaurants, shopping, sight-seeing and more.

Both houses have soaring ceilings and skylights that provide beautiful warm light. Amenities include a heated 32 feet salt-water swimming pool, a game room with a billiard table, a state-of-the-art large outdoor hot-tub and a sauna in its own building. Two fully equipped kitchens and dining areas in two houses, complete with Weber grills outside, allow your company to separate into more manageable groups. Each kitchen is equipped with wood and granite counters, professional gas cooktops and everything else needed for a gourmet meal or a relaxed family dinner. In fact, we have a local celebrity chef whose services you can reserve. We’re happy to help coordinate.

Both houses have recently been completely renovated and decorated with new and antique furniture. All bathrooms have granite vanities, heated floors, and beautiful natural stone tiles. The master bathroom has an ornate vintage mirror, sconces and a cooper stand-alone bathtub. For comfort in the summer, there is a quiet Mitsubishi mini split AC in all bedrooms and common areas. Finally, for blazing internet speeds, we have Comcast Gigabit Service, and the signal is strong throughout the property.

The space:

This estate has two separate houses connected by a spacious 4,000 sqft deck.
Step into the Main house, where you are greeted with large glass doors and windows. The sunlight floods the house and provides spectacular vistas. The Main house has 7 bedrooms (including four with king beds and one with a queen bed), 6 bathrooms and 2 family rooms with a beautiful fireplace on the main level. There is a fully equipped kitchen with bar counters and a large dining table. The Main house also has a movie theater room equipped with a 77” OLED TV and a sound bar. There is also a children’s playroom with its own large TV.

The Guest house has 4 bedrooms (including two with king beds), 2 bathrooms, a spacious sun-filled family living room with hardwood floors and a stone fireplace. The guest house also has a fully equipped kitchen with bar counters and a large dining table. On the ground floor, there is a game room with a bar, TV, a ping pong and a billiard table, as well as its own sound system for your enjoyment.

Your perfect day: After a fun day of skiing, swimming or exploring gorgeous scenery nearby, relax in the spacious sauna, pool or the outdoor hot tub, all the while enjoying views of the alpine field and the mountains! Then look forward to fine dining in one of many excellent restaurants in Manchester or BBQing on the deck - the choice is yours! After dinner go to the outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows with kids or fire up the fireplace. Put on your favorite music on our quality Hi-Fi music system either on the deck or in the living room to complete the relaxation. Or spend your downtime watching sports or movies on one of the four large screen TVs.

The estate has a generator that automatically powers the main and guest houses in the event of an outage. For electric vehicles, there is a dedicated ChargePoint EV charger.

** The pool is open from late-May to late-October, weather permitting. There is an extra charge to heat the pool before June 15th and after September 15th
** If more than 22 people are staying at the house, each additional person incurs a charge of $125 per person per night up to 26 people.
** For the summer season (mid-June to Labor Day), a week rental (Sunday to Sunday) is highly preferred.

The neighborhood:

The house is located on a secluded 20 acre estate in the picturesque village of Peru, Vermont sitting in the middle of Green Mountain National Forest. In the winter enjoy skiing in nearby resorts of Bromley, Magic, Stratton and Okemo. Bromley Mountain, only 5 minutes away, is equally great for kids and for novice, intermediate and expert skiers. It is so close, you can even go back home for lunch, and then back to the mountain under an hour! Two excellent x-country skiing centers, Wild Wings and Viking Nordic, are less than 10 minutes away. There is also local snowmobiling, and Manchester offers unforgettable sleigh ride experiences.

In the summer, enjoy numerous hiking or cycling opportunities nearby. Hapgood Pond, a swimming pond and recreational area, is only one mile away! Bromley Sun Mountain Summer Park offers family adventures for the whole day of fun including America’s longest triple-track Alpine Slide, water-slide raft rides ,climbing walls, mini-golf and much more.

The historic town of Manchester is only 15 minutes away. There you can enjoy many fine restaurants.
