Beautiful Lake House with 5,600 sq ft on 13 wooded acres and private lake.

Direct view of the sun setting over the lake/Bromley mountain every night from the Living Room, Great Room, Dining Room, Kitchen & Bedrooms.

2 Fireplaces plus 2 outdoor fire-pits

Minutes to 4 major ski resorts. Perfect for family reunions or large groups.

After a fun day of skiing, swimming or exploring everything Vermont has to offer, relax by the fire while enjoying gorgeous views of the lake and mountains! Then look forward to fine dining in one of many excellent restaurants in Manchester or BBQing on the deck - the choice is yours!

After dinner go to the patio and enjoy the outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows with kids, or fire up the wood burning stove and enjoy your companions by the fire.

There is also a sauna, a gym, a hot tub, pool table, foosball, dartboard, as well as another 4 living areas.

3 of the living areas have TV and 2 of them have sofa-bed/futon that allow them to serve as an 8th or 9th sleeping space.

The Appalachian trail is only a 5 minute drive. Manchester Center is 15 minutes, Bromley Ski area is 4 minutes away.

Our host , Pat, was very responsive and checked in on us via text which was really appreciated. My adult children and niece and nephew enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The guys even did a little ice fishing and caught one trout and a few perch. We would stay here again!

Just an absolute exceptional property and stay. The house is very spacious, and could accommodate our large Golf group for our vacation. The views are fantastic and all of the amenities right for our group. We will definitely stay here again and the owner was nothing but helpful through the entire process. I can’t recommend this property enough!

Patrick is an excellent host and this property was perfect for our family reunion. The hot tub and sauna were really a treat and very relaxing. We were all able to sit around a table and we had some fun games of pool. Highly recommend working with this host.

We could not have been any more delighted by our stay at this property. Check-in was simple. A four digit code gave us immediate access to a well-maintained chateaux. Our group of nine adults and five children found a fully equipped home with outstanding equipment for water activities on the private lake. The proximity to Bromley, Manchester, Stratton and other locations gave us access to a full range of ideas to fill the schedule (golf, quarry swimming, shopping, restaurants, etc.). We strongly recommend the property for family reunions and celebrations.

Had a family trip to this beautiful home and property to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. We had an amazing time! The home is spacious and had everything we needed. The lake and numerous seating areas and firepits were enjoyed by all. There were a couple of relatively minor issues, but Pat, Beth and Omar were quick to respond and super helpful in resolving them and/or answering any questions. All in all, this was a perfect place for our family and friends, and wonderful way for my husband to celebrate his birthday.

We had a wonderful time at this house and will probably return. There was plenty of room and activities for the entire family. We cooked inside and outside, made s’mores, played games, used the hot tub and sauna, kayaked, attempted paddle boarding, read, and relaxed. Nearby, there’s hiking in Stratton along with a gondola ride. The bookstore in Manchester is awesome. The adventure activities at Bromley are both challenging and fun. Breakfast at J.J. Hapgood and barbecue from Bromley Market were great, both quite close.

Wonderful property, home, and host; we would not hesitate to rent again. The house was phenomenally stocked; we're used to rentals with 4 mismatched forks, a soup spoon, and 9 butter knives but this home, was move-in ready. A fully stocked kitchen including pots, pans, serving trays, seasoning, coffee and there were loads of towels and blankets and just anything we'd need. And it was all nicer than it had to be, including a wood pellet grill and Apple TVs, etc. And the grounds - there were three areas for a fire, tons of chairs and lights and umbrellas. 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, row boat, varied floats including a huge lounger and a large inflatable slide with lots of life vests in good shape. The only issue we had was with the hot tub, life happens, but the host Pat was fabulous; we contacted him, got an immediate response and a repair was very quickly made. Life can't be perfect, but the response was - couldn't ask for a better host.

Even in the rain it was great!

To celebrate my daughters college graduation I booked this property for the family and a few friends. The weather was cold and rainy the whole trip but we made the best of it. The house is massive and all the amenities inside were great!

Perfect Getaway

We rented this property as a way to spend time with family right before the busy holiday season. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The house was very cozy, clean, and had everything we needed and more! Check-in was super easy, and the host responded very quickly. The hot tub and sauna were great additions, but the view of the lake and mountains every morning was just what we wanted. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family!!

Great place for a weekend away!

We stayed here with a group of friends and family for a weekend away in honor of my husband’s 30th birthday. This was a group of 14 adults ages 27-37 years old. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Everyone commented on how spacious the house was . Despite 14 of us being in the same house at no point did anyone feel on top of each other. There were great spaces for us to hang out as a large group and the view was beautiful. It was only a 20 minute drive into Manchester where we were able to go and pick up groceries, take a nice nature walk and explore downtown. We did spend a majority of the weekend at the house though and everyone was very sad to leave. Pat was easy to communicate with and sent very clear instructions on how to check in and use all the features of the house which I really appreciated. I would recommend this place to annyone and would absolutely stay again!

Christmas in Vermont

Everything was great working with the owner Pat was a pleasure. The house is large which worked for my family of 14. Close to Bromley and Stratton. We skied at both mountains. Any problems with the house were taken care of immediately. I would defiantly go back and would recommend to our friends!!

Thanksgiving in Vermont

Our extended family gathered for our annual Thanksgiving in Vermont....a tradition that now spans more than a half century! The Peru House is located just off Vermont Route 11 in the eastern shadow of Bromley Mountain. We were greeted with a few inches of heavy wet snow, creating a perfect sledding opportunity for the kids to do some sliding on the gentle hills on the property. The house has spacious common areas, a well equipped kitchen, a large deck overlooking the beaver pond, and panoramic views of the surrounding hills. It's a short drive to the towns of Londonderry and Manchester for shopping and dining, and there are plenty of nearby options for hiking, skiing, and biking. Regardless of the season, this is a perfect spot for a large family with varied interests.

Our Vermont Get Away

This house was everything we expected and more. From check in to check out everything went smooth. Patrick was a great host. He answered all questions promptly . He checked in with us while we were there to see how things were going. The house was extremely clean and spacious for my family of 4 generations. The yard is huge for the kids to run around. The lake was right there for swimming kayaking and fishing which which we did. It was a wonderful vacation had by all of us. We would definitely would recommend this house. We would also rent again.

Lovely house!

Just stayed here for a long weekend, and we had a great time! The house is secluded so it was very peaceful. and everyone had a nice time kayaking and playing games. The kitchen is well equipped, so we also enjoyed cooking. It was also great that the owner was really responsive if I had any questions.

Amazing location and property for large friend reunion

This sprawling, lovely house held 12 of use comfortably: 2 families of 4 had mini-suites to themselves and the rest of us were comfortable in large bedrooms. The beautiful main rooms look onto a lake, and one is a large recreation room with a hot tub outside on an elevated porch. We didn't have to leave the property and were entertained for 3 days straight! There were plenty of sheets, towels, etc. Will definitely have our next reunion here again!

Great time at a private lake

My family and I stayed at the property along with several friends. Everything went very smooth and there were plenty of things to do together (hot tub, gym, sauna, pool table, large dining area, fire pit, hiking, etc.). I'd like to go back when it's warmer so we can get into the lake as well.

*My Dream home!*

I can’t wait to go back! This house & location are Amazing- directly on a private pond with the mountains in the background and close to so many fabulous restaurants & shopping. I’d like to book again in the winter for skiing, as it’s right between 3 great mountains. The check in is simple with keyless entry. The house has so many updates & each room is spotless. It is VERY spacious with nice sized bedrooms, plenty of baths, several separate living areas on both floors, a game room, gym, Pool table & more. I got lost a few times there is so much room! Patrick, the host is very accessible & responds immediately to any questions. He made us feel at home immediately. It is well equip with everything you will need. The mattresses & all beddings are all high quality. This location is perfect for all seasons. I was with all adults, however the house is set up to entertain groups and families with children alike. There are several water toys/kayaks to play in the pond and the water is very clear. Every detail was well thought out! There is a nice fire pit with plenty of wood & all of the furniture inside & outside are all very comfortable. Even if I never left the property, there is a ton to do! I enjoyed sitting in the Jacuzzi on the large outdoor deck & star gazing! I cannot say enough about the quality of every feature of the house, the perfect VT location and best sleep I got in over a year! It’s nice & quiet. I will definitely be booking again soon!

Amazing, flawless experience

If you’ve seen those Vrbo ads showing overjoyed people in impossibly beautiful estates- that was us, and Patrick’s seemed like one of those places. It’s spacious, clean, had everything my group (adults with mostly young kids) could need: comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, a serious gym, multiple spaces for hanging out, including a large main room with pool table, fireplace, TV, board games, allowing kids and adults to occupy the same space. Oh, and a hot tub overlooking our private lake. And a fire pit. Patrick is a wonderful, super-responsive host, who provided a list of nearby activities, but we didn’t really feel the need to leave the place. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Beautiful views

Patrick has an wonderful house and property. It was the perfect place for our reunion. We spent every night at the firepit overlooking the lake and the mountains. It was beautiful. The House has an amazing view, lots of space and is close to everything. This home did not disappoint. Highly recommend!
