There are four generous bedrooms - two with king beds and two with queen - and all with garden views. One king can be split into two king singles. There is an ensuite in the master bedroom, another shared bathroom and separate powder room, and full working laundry. Luxury linens, towels and Aspar body products are provided at your home away from home.

Two large living areas provide ample space for relaxation and there is enough room in the main living/dining space overlooking the garden for yoga. The other living room includes a Smart TV and games. The light-filled kitchen is fully equipped for cooking a feast and the dining area is a beautiful space to sit looking over the giant oak and elm trees down to the river and beyond.

Guests have private access to the entire house and garden surroundings. The property is unsuitable for dogs and due to the river frontage is not suitable for children under twelve.

From 1851, Kyneton was part of the goldfields explosion and became a service town for the region. It has long been known for its hospitality, and in recent years has become well known for fine dining, galleries, and artisan shopping. If you feel like adventuring beyond Kyneton, there are many walks to explore, wineries and European gardens. We respect and acknowledge the vital role of the Taungurung people, who are local custodians of the area where River House is located. River House is within walking distance of some of Regional Victoria’s finest dining and cafe venues, boutiques and galleries. The seasonal beauty of the Campaspe River Walk is only minutes away.
