Loved the peaceful country setting of this property. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with wonderful treats. Enjoyed sitting on the porches and watching the deer and armadillos. I highly recommend this place!!!

Our host was very helpful with information about road conditions and the flooding. The house was quiet, off to itself, but not a great distance from Fredericksburg. We had everything we needed, in addition to some delicious pound cake.

This is our second time to stay here. The home is cozy, secluded, and fully stocked. We enjoy the peacefulness, the animals, and the homemade treats provided by the hostess. Brent and Veronica are excellent host/ hostess. Will be back!

Nice place between towns. We’re there for a wedding in one town and shopping and such in another. Not in town which is what we preferred, nice country setting

5 star all the way around!! Very responsive host, who even warned us of some upcoming bad weather. The home has everything you need: great wifi, comfy beds, and a fully equipped kitchen. Exceeded our expectations!!

Short weekend

Place is clean, affordable, and comfortable. They left us some of the best dang muffins I’ve had in a long time. I would definitely come back just for the muffins.

The home was a lovely quiet retreat! The home was very clean and comfortable. The deer watching was fun and the kittens were a nice surprise! The hosts were very attentive.

Perfect Getaway

Mama’s Haus was wonderful. The house was perfect, everything we needed and was spacious. The outdoor setting was even better. Off the FM road down a pretty drive, and surrounded by nothing but nature. The topper were the two sweet and friendly cats we called Doss & Harper & several deer visitors.

Beautiful property & home

Beautiful well equipped home with all the amenities of home. We loved all the hummingbirds and deer to watch. Very relaxing. My husband frequently hunts in the area and I love to shop in Fredericksburg, so it's a win for us both. We hope to be back soon.

Highly recommend. I have a deer camp nearby with no lodging on site so this place was a perfect fit! Off 290 enough to be very quiet but not so far out of Harper that it’s inconvenient! Super quiet spot with lots of deer around as well as a couple very friendly cats lol.Old “farmhouse” feel home, internet was strong, appliances and such all modern and work well. They have everything you need to cook on the stove!Will likely stay here again!

Amazing property that is well kept and cozy. Your first met by the cabin cats who live outside the cabin. These very happy cats love pets and attention. The cabin has big windows to view all the deer that come right up to the property and the two Armadillos that will dig around the yard. You feel safe and secluded in a cabin that gives you the perfect hill country experience.

Amazing Hill Country cottage

The check-in process was easy, amenities were fantastic, and the property was well maintained. We loved being out in the country. It was so peaceful, yet close enough to Harper. There were deer, two cute outdoor kittens, and hummingbirds. This property was stocked with anything one could possibly need. The hosts were readily available if needed. We definitely recommend Mom’s Haus and will stay there again in the future.

Didn’t bring our dog but loved the cats. We like the privacy and isolation and it was close to the friends we were visiting on the other side of Harper.Our only complaint was my wife and I both sunk into the beds to the extent my back hurt. And we are not large people.

What a beautiful place, very secluded. The pound cake was wonderful and the cats are very sweet and friendly. The house was very clean and well stocked. The host was very responsive to texts almost immediately and was available if we needed anything. The cabin is spacious and very well maintained. It’s about 20min from Fredericksburg and we enjoyed visiting a beautiful friendly town. We will definitely visit this cabin again!
