First off, for five guys staying in Lexington for a UK football game, the location is absolutely perfect. The kitchen, bar area, dining room are excellent, the first floor bathroom very serviceable. The upstairs bedroom is a delightful suite, albeit with very low ceilings as described on the VRBO page. The house was well appointed, including Keurig cups, and gift bags with water, a toothbrush, soap, and snacks… very nice touch! This would be a five-star across the board review were it not for the basement room. Yes there are several signs warning to watch your head. But I’m 6’2” and the boxed-in duct work was about 5’7”, which frankly is ridiculous. The room is dark and dreary; no windows, no carpet. Perhaps what is now a pool room would better serve as a bedroom. Two grown men shared that bedroom and had to walk around crouched over for four days. Were we able to successfully avoid whacking our heads several times? Sadly no.

Great house, amazing location to Kroger Field. We stayed for a weekend to visit our UK student and were able to wall to his off campus house and Kroger Field for the football game. Short drive to campus and surroundings. House was clean and beds comfortable. Our pre-teen kids had a blast playing pool and hanging in the backyard.

Nice place, only down side is that it’s listed as a 2 bathroom, but the upstairs bathroom only has a tub, no shower. We made it work, and had a great weekend.

For the most part, everything was fine. I did not see any mention of very low ceilings on the first and third floor. I did see it in one customer review but dismissed it since here was no mention of it elsewhere. This was a real hazard. My daughter was upstairs and banged her head several times just standing up in the bathtub. My nephew was in the basement and banged his head multiple times just sitting up in bed. We all banged our heads several times just going through the house. There were a couple of signs stating this actually in the house. This should be in the actual listing so others don't hurt themselves off-and-on all week as we did.

July stay

Location was excellent. House comfortable and roomy. 2 downstairs bedrooms very nice but attic bedroom had stairs between the sleeping area and the bathroom making it hazardous at night. We had to blockade the stairs with furniture. also very low ceiling meant you had to crouch to walk to bathroom. Laundry facilities were very nice

Great house to hang out and great location

Clean, well kept house with a pool table in the basement? Yes, please! Well located, very spacious and cute little neighborhood off of a main thoroughfare. We really enjoyed the stay!

Spring Break

In town to visit UK and son on spring break. Nice accommodations, HVAC system is loud in the front bedroom, tall people stay on first floor, low ceilings in basement and 2nd floor.

Highly recommend & you can walk to UK

We loved our stay & were welcomed with awesome gift bags. The home is very spacious and clean, the pool table was a huge hit. It had all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The host was amazing and quick to respond to our questions. The university of Kentucky was walking distance, Grocery stores, the mall, restaurants, local breweries and attractions were within minutes of the home. We met our South Carolina family half way to meet the newest baby of our family. Beautiful memories were made in the gorgeous home.
