Amazing getaway!

We enjoyed our stay very much. This island is our favorite destination. Cozy spacios place right on the ocean, fully equipped with all your needs to feel home. Fabulous view of the island. Short distance to amazing beaches Walking distance to near by restorant, coffe shop and groceries store. Very welcoming promptly responsive host. Thank you Marie! for making our stay beutiful, will be back soon.

Feet in the water

Property was exactly as described. During our three week stay we felt very safe within this gated community. A quiet peaceful place to recharge. Everything needed was within walking distance with a small grocery outlet directly across the street and an amazing bakery close by. Marigot was a 45 min.walk on an extremely busy road with no sidewalks, it’s doable but a car rental would be advisable for a stay of more than a week. Besides you don’t want to miss any of the beautiful sites the island has to offer. We will definitely be returning to our great hostess Marie, who was very accommodating and quick to respond.

Diamond in the rough

This property is a gem. Located in a gated community. There are approximately 20 units in the shape of a U. All providing a beach front view. We were approximately 40' from the water. Most of the units have been rebuit from the 2017 hericane. There are some units still not rebuilt. Modern open concept kitchen / dining / seating area with a large screen TV. Single bedroom with king bed. Small bathroom with shower. Washer / dryer combo. Outdoor porch with canopy and privacy bushes.Community pool in the center of the complex. Pool was maintained daily by an outside service. Water was cool and refreshing. Ocean was calm with gentle waves, and breeze. There is a rock ledge at the end of the beach making it difficult to swim, but not impossible. There was a good deal of ocean grass washing up on the shore. This was raked weekly by the gardner.Place was very quiet, perfect for relaxing. Beach front is private. Oce

Amazing house :)

This is the perfect property! The house is incredibly nice, as is the community. The community features the same houses with access straight onto the beach, just like in the photos. The location of this specific house is just perfect. The beach and water are always in view and the pool is just steps away. There is a quick access door to leave the gated community, which gives you a 10 second walk to the excellent restaurant Mezza Luna, a minute walk to the very well stocked supermarket, and a two minute walk to the bakery (which is excellent!). Looking out from the kitchen, living and dining room through the giant sliding glass doors gives you amazing views constantly. The interior is really well furnished. The bathrooms are very nice. The kitchen has absolutely everything needed, including both a Nespresso machine and a drip coffee maker. Sitting on the terrace, you are on the beach,and nothing obstructs your view. The houses next door are not really visible because of the way they are angled, so you have lots of privacy. There are two A/C units which cooled the place more than enough. The beach itself is nice, snorkeling is possible, but it is a little rocky and okay for a quick dip and kayaking. Certainly recommend getting a rent-a-car and exploring the other beached on the island, you will not be disappointed. There is plenty of parking in the community, and there was always a spot very near to the house.

Tranquility

The property is absolutely fantastic, the pictures do not do it justice. If you want a quiet, calm relaxing vacation, this is the spot. Sitting on the deck early in the morning or late into the night listening to the waves rolling in is so calming and relaxing. My wife did mediation every morning on the water's edge, and said it was one of the best experiences. The unit was spotless when we arrived and offers everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. It is very well equipped; we didn't want for anything. The direct access to the beach and water is amazing and the swimming pool also has its benefits. It is conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants, all within walking distance. I highly recommend visiting Mezza Luna (Italian Restaurant) next door to the complex, it is great for lunch, dinner or afternoon cocktails. If you want a romantic night out, check out La Cigale (French Restaurant) is just a 5-minute walk away, it offers great food and a table along the water's edge where you can sit and watch the sunset. Marie, the host is extremely friendly and accommodating, she is very welcoming and has lots of helpful ideas to help make the most of your vacation. Thank you, Marie, for everything and we will see you next year!! If you really want to top of the vacation, we wrapped ours up with couples' sunset message on the beach. I really can't say enough about this unit, the only regret you will have is not booking it.

Exceptional!!!

This is an fantastic property! The view is simply stunning. The property is directly on the sand. You literally walk outside , across the deck, and into the sand. From there it is a 30 second walk to the water! The unit itself is EXTREMELY well appointed with everything you would need for your stay, including major and minor appliances, pot and pans, dishes, cooking utensils, beach chairs, BBQ grill, etc. This made for a very stress-free vacation. The unit was also very clean upon our arrival. All of the furniture was very comfortable and in great condition. I can recommend this property with absolutely no hesitation. It’s as close to perfect as I can imagine and is probably the nicest of any VRBO property we have ever stayed at. Tips: 1) When you leave the rental car area, turn right to go to the property. It is a much nicer drive. If you go the other direction, it’s not bad, but you do have to go through downtown Marigot, which is quite rundown. However, we NEVER felt unsafe anywhere on the island. 2) Our preferred grocery store was Carrefour. They carry everything and it’s a huge store. 3) Pack less clothing. There is a washer/dryer in the unit. 4) If you are a cigar smoker, LCDH is 5 minutes away. SXM Cigars is also only 15 minutes away in Maho Beach. Both have REAL Cuban cigars. I had fantastic shopping experiences at both. If a Cuban cigar is cheap, it’s fake!

Nous sommes arrivés en retard (avion) nous n'avons pas eu l'accueil qui était prévu, mais tout a bien été et à chaque fois que nous communiquions avec l'hôte nous avions une réponse rapide. Il ne manquait rien, c'était propre, une vue incroyable. Tout était parfait!
