Situated in an idyllic and sought-after neighborhood of Ambassador residences off Foxhall Rd, this home features 5 bedrooms and 4 full and 1 half bathrooms over 3 full levels.
The spacious main level boasts a split floor plan with an excellent flow for everyday living and entertaining. The large formal living room is a perfect gathering place before dinner when entertaining. This sun-filled room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, antiques, large oil paintings, a grand piano, wrap-around leather sofa, a bar cart, and plenty of space. A few stairs up leads to the formal dining room with exquisite antique furnishings, crystal chandelier, seating for 10-12, and a view overlooking the living room and the four large south-facing front windows of the home. The large gourmet eat-in kitchen features a glassed-over addition offering abundant light and garden view, a center island with range and sink, high-end stainless steel appliances, and casual seating for six. French doors open to the slate patio with seating and grill. Across the hall is a quiet corner den with fireplace, work area facing the garden, fireplace, and doors that open directly to the garden.
