Welcome to Chickadee Cove at Fin N' Feather Waterside Inn by KEES Vacations!

The Fin N' Feather Waterside Inn by KEES Vacations is one of the last of its kind. Located on the Nags Head/Manteo Causeway, the Inn offers comfortable and well-appointed rooms and efficiencies overlooking the beautiful Roanoke Sound. The historic inn first opened in 1968 and closed in September of 2011 after a bout with Hurricane Irene. Now open after an extensive renovation, the Inn is perfect for anyone fishing the Outer Banks or surfing the Nags Head beaches.

Chickadee Cove Fin N' Feather Queen Regular room includes one Queen Bed, a full bathroom, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a mini fridge. This unit is on the first level of Fin and Feather.

Chickadee Cove at Fin N' Feather Waterside Inn is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a small one-time fee of $50, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

This property has 1 parking spot for guests.

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.

We didn't end up staying here, we had to get a hotel. This place was gross. Infested with cockroaches and you could see where many of them had been killed on the ceiling and walls, there were splattered bug remains.

1- the floor was filthy when we first arrived, thankfully they left a broom so we could sweep all the sand, dirt, and bugs up ourself!2- the bathroom sink did not drain the entire stay, leaving stagnant water in the bathroom 3- half a shower curtain and no shower amenities detailed in the description 4- ROACHES (3 of them more)

Aspectos negativos: Instalaciones y estado del alojamiento
Not able to check in since the room was still being worked on after a water leak I was told that had happened three days prior with plenty of time to give us a warning. Check in with 1.5 hrs late after a 5 hr trip. Drywall dust was never cleaned up so that was fun to keep out the bed, no water view or bathroom amenities as advertised. Bathroom was a mess between unfinished drywall, shower curtain too short and only given a half roll of TP for the duration of stay which we had to go buy more. Lock pad was a pain. Not only did we struggle to get into the room but also the maintenance personnel that we waited an hour on but following day the housekeeper struggled to get in both of which stated they have been complaining about as well. The last night there the next door neighbor was reving speed bike past midnight for close to an hour that was shaking bathroom window, thankfully he stopped after I spoke with him. I’ve emailed Kees about all these issues but since it’s been more than 48hrs with no reply this review is needed to help others from running into these issues.
