Oneroa Birdsong Retreat - Beautiful views & accommodating on a budget

Fantasic sea views and location. A bright & modern home set amongst bush & our gardens. An easy stroll to beaches, many beautiful walking tracks, Oneroa village with its shops, restaurants and bus stops. Ferry from Auckland city is a 35 min walk with light packs or short taxi/ bus ride away. Native trees & birds, with stunning sea view from upper deck.
Our home is insulated, mostly double glazed and has an integrated sound system (sonos).

Although not especially large overall, our home has 3 distinct bedroom areas (downstairs 2 rooms, upstairs large master bedroom, and upstairs large studio), so could be accommodating for 2-3 small families or 3-4 couples.

The house has 2 deck areas and several more outdoor areas, including a courtyard that's sheltered in southerly winds.

It's furnished as our home rather than dedicated "bnb" accommodation - homely rather than perfectly polished or sterile. Our home is set amongst nature with much birdlife, and nature is always trying to come indoors!

Oneroa is very easily walkable. Our location is close to Oneroa's beaches and cafes but set away from the busiest summer streets. We have parking for several cars if you don't mind backing out.

Downstairs:

* Cosy living room with wood burner and TV/ Chromecast

* Front deck, 2 flat lawns, bean bags, small fireplace

* Sheltered courtyard area with large fire/ pizza oven, umbrella, fish pond

* 2x double bedrooms
- the larger bedroom can be set up with the portable cot
- the downstairs rooms are adjacent to the dining area and look out upon our enclosed courtyard and lawn area

* Modern shower bathroom.

Upstairs:

* Our lovely upper deck offers fantastic sun & views from amongst the trees. Couch & umbrella

* Master bedroom with comfy king bed and stunning sea view. Can be set up with the single trundle bed (foam mattress) OR the port-a-cot.

* Ensuite with large shower and bath.

* Large upstairs studio room is accross the upper deck from the master (external access from upper deck), also with sun and sea views. Comfy queen bed and comfy airbed with a memory foam topper. Can also be set up with the single trundle bed (foam mattress).

*The studio has a toilet room but no shower.
