Kitchen was spacious and clean. Lots of room inside and beds were comfortable. Deck overlooking the river, is large and the fire pit had wood all ready for a fire.There is a heron across the river that gave us a show every morning, before leaving the nest.Very comfortable accommodations.

The grounds were lovely and created a great deal of privacy and serenity. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location, close to Ferguson, made getting to shops and interesting restaurants quite easy. We would definitely return and plan to stay longer!

Our stay at the bungalow on grand river was absolutely amazing! The place was clean, super equipped, cozy and private. The view of the river is gorgeous, the host answered all our questions promptly and made sure we felt at home. Less than 10 minutes drive from the beautiful town of Elora where you'll find beautiful boutiques, shops, restaurants, coffee shops and more. We will be back for sure!! The property was beautiful, lots of wildlife, and fishing opportunities. The home was very clean, and comfortable. The home is also very close to Fergus downtown, with lots of restaurants and very cute shops. However the property is on a busy road, and the basement during our stay was not available due to renovation, so it was not exactly what we expected, although my husband and I had a lovely time, and would definitely stay again.

Very nice property with a beautiful view. Great deck to sit an enjoy. There is road construction that we were unaware of that was noisy, but overall a nice stay.

Calm and serene getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was spotless and located in a peaceful, serene neighborhood with a beautiful lake view. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and we really appreciated the helpful notes placed throughout the home — it made everything so easy to find and use. The host was incredibly approachable and always available whenever we needed assistance. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed getaway!

Better than Home away from home

First of all, we had the whole house. AND, the backyard with hammock, fire-pit, large grassy yard and beautiful flowing river made our stay extra special. We were visiting family. This adorable houseallowed us to host my uncle and aunt like I would at home. We enjoyed snacks on the back porch, then grilled out for dinner and had a lovely evening in the dining space. Morning coffee was made extra peaceful on the patio with the sound of the river. The bed was very comfy. We stayed in the bedroom at the back of the house to listen to the river. Now, this home is on a very busy road at an intersection wrapping up construction. However, parking on property is easy and has lots of space. The noise is minimal when enjoying the home or back patio. When familiar with the location of the driveway, getting in and out of the driveway is easy. Communications were fast and easy and the host were so accommodating.

The property backs into the Grand River and is suitable for guests, whether they are looking for some relaxing time by the water or they wish to go trekking, canoeing, fishing etc. with Bellwood Conservation Area and Elora Gorge located with 5-15 minutes drive time. Fergus and Elora are twin town that offer old-time charm with lot of restaurants and similar experiences.
