Private pool and hot tub, paddleboard, ping pong

Private pool (5/1 to 10/15)and hot tub, paddleboard. Huge sundeck and dock with usable power at the dock and swim ladder. Ping pong table, wifi, 4 smart tvs, gas grill. Impressive vaulted ceilings coupled with the professionally decorated clean, elegant, lake theme give a feeling of richness to this home. Oversized bedrooms ensure plenty of room to spread out and make the place your very own for your trip. The main level has an open floorplan, with the kitchen, living room and dining room open to one another that allows for the whole family to enjoy cooking, having dinner or just relaxing in front of the tv. There is a table on the deck overlooking the peaceful cove if you prefer to grill and eat outside, or enjoy the screened in porch off the deck. There's also a full bath (shower) on the main level.
Upstairs, there are 2 large bedrooms and another full bath with a tub shower. The waterfront bedroom has a King bed. The roadfront bedroom has a double bottom, twin top bunk bed.
Downstairs, there is a large bedroom with a King bed and another full bath (shower), and a rec room with ping pong. Outside, you'll find a covered porch with a 6 person hot tub on one side and the privae swimming pool on the other. The walkway to the dock is very gentle and leads to the oversized sundeck at the dock. The top level of the dock has a 6 seat table and plenty of room for lounging. There's a swim ladder and lots of space to park your boat.
Home managed by CB Sales and Rentals, Inc. | You must bring your own fitted and flat sheets, towels, and toiletry items. Linen rentals are available third party if you prefer to pack light. Comforters, quilts, pillows, and mattress protectors are provided. Occupancy is set by the counties and state of VA; we do not have the ability to override it or make exceptions. Please do not ask.

Our experience was disappointing. We rented property mainly for pool. Pool was not operating properly, skimmer was not working. Upon arrival, contacted property management and informed them of problem. Were told we would be fitting in on our second day to fix problem. No one showed until 3rd day. Maintenace company said they had unplugged skimmer to fill water level but failed to do so. Pool skimmer was ripped up, but my daughter found another one that had been thrown out in yard. We had to fill pool, clean debris from pool, and waited for Maintenace personnel. They came, did spot cleaning, and left. Pool still not operating because of broken skimmer on pool. Outside area was poorly maintained. Inside was very nice. We rented location because of pool and were very let down. We felt we were taken advantage of and at a very costly price!

Not impressed

Our family of 4 arrived at a lake house that was over grown with weeds. First impression was not great. The inside of the house was beautiful, but when looking closer you notice how dirty everything was. My daughter’s white socks were black after walking around for a little bit! There was food and dead bugs under the TV stand. The screen porch area was unusable because it was dirty, pillows on furniture were dirty and there were cobwebs everywhere. It doesn’t look like it had been spread in a long time for spider or bugs. When we went out to see the pool and dock area we ran into more over grown weeds, poison oak/ivy growing around the pool area, on the fences, and up the side of house. Walking down to the dock we ran into a storage box with red faced hornets buzzing around. My husband found a LARGE nest in the storage bin right next to the steps you need to take to get to the dock. With my special needs daughter being highly allergic we couldn’t go to dock area first day or so until my husband sprayed and killed some of the bees. We went on vacation to have a peaceful break and to relax. EVERY day some one came by the house. First night at dark, a person stopped to get items left on the dock by others. The second and third day we had people disrupting us in the pool to say they were there to make estimates on the landscaping. The next night we took our family out to eat and came back to things moved around the outside of the house. It was not a good experience. Money wasted

Summer vacation in July

We enjoyed our stayed and overall, it is a great family home. The outside cover porch was not our favorite because it was hot and not usable for us. Really enjoyed the pool and the lake.

In town for the national mountain bike championships in downtown and Explore Park. Exceptionally clean and bright, well-appointed kitchen, great place to relax after training and races. Great communication.

Inside Great/Ouside Needs Help

The inside was great. Very clean and lots of amenities. Now the outside was horrible. Weeds in gardens were past top of fence. Grass had not been cut. Inside pool there are 2 oak trees starting to grow and are close to top of fence. Weeds again past top of fence top. Old dead vine weeds spreading and taking up space next to pool. Not maintained at all. Side of house was also over grown. Fence gate in pool area broke. The agency helped me alot due to had had to leave early but but the lawn maintenace needs to be given to someone else.

The house was beautiful with an amazing view. Spent a long of time on the dock swimming in the clean, clear lake and sitting by the pool. Would definitely come back!
