Estuary cottage, tranquil for that much needed get away.

If you’re after a tranquil area with estuary views close to caffès, restaurants,
bike rides and walks you will love this cottage. The cottage offers 2 nice size bedrooms with queen size beds and a fully equipped kitchen surrounded with a lovely garden with fire pit for those fresh nights.
The estuary is home to various marine life, including blue swimmer crabs, western king prawns, and several fish species, and is visited by dolphins.
You will have the whole property to yourself which boasts two bedrooms with queen size beds. The kitchen is fully renovated and has all you need. If you would like to bring your furry friend, we are pet friendly, garden can be closed off at the back of property as well as the front gate.
There are many options for dining in the area as well as many tourist attractions. Whatever your needs you will be satisfied to find everything close by.

This beautiful cottage is the best 'home away from home', with everything you need, and great for my small dog with a secure yard to play in. It is right near the estuary, and was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Everything was perfect! It had a wonderful kitchen, great atmosphere and lovely verandah to relax on. Loved it!

Beautiful place in beautiful area close to so many shore fishing spots. We borrowed a crab drop net from the shed and although it is late in the season, we caught 6 sized blue swimmers, best crabs I've ever eaten!

Such a great little cottage- stylish, very comfortable and so well equipped. So relaxing to sit on the deck and look out to the lake. It was a bonus to have such a well stocked pantry cupboard with herbs, sauces and spices and also access to the shed! Great location between Perth and Margaret River area.

We loved this cottage. It was clean and welcoming with a variety of homely features. The kitchen was very well stocked with a large variety of cooking options and many of the incidentals required for meal preparation. The bedrooms were bright, the beds and pillows very comfortable and we had plentiful wardrobe space. In the living area, the chairs and couch were also very comfortable. Unfortunately our stay was short so we didn't have the opportunity to use any of the recreational facilities which included: kayaks and bikes; a fire pit surrounded by garden; an outdoor table for dining or playing games, and comfortable chairs and a lounge on the front verandah where we could enjoying the view across the park to the estuary. Inside the house there was a great assortment of books, games and videos for those who want them.The estuary foreshore is close by and it features an easy walk path that follows the estuary and takes you to a playground, barbecues and community gym equipment. The bird life was profuse and it was relaxing to just stop at one of the many seats along side the path and just take in the surrounds. Overall, the property offers great flexibility as a relaxing and enjoyable holiday destination, an excellent location with easy access to food shops and surrounding features and it is, a lovely, very well presented and equipped cottage.

Well equipped and location. There were many small things which a long traveler like us needed like spices, coffee and tea, well equipped kitchen.View to the estuary, quite yet central location. We had to move our dates of check in due to changes in our flight, without problem granted.Communication quick and friendly. A perfect holiday chill.

We had a winter stay for 3 nights mid-week. This cute little cottage is perfect for couples, friends (2 queen beds in separate rooms), or a small family. So close to a lovely estuary nature walk, view across the park to the estuary and boat ramp. We took our coffee across the road as there is a perfect picnic table at the shoreline to catch the winter sun and would also be nice for sunset wine in warmer weather. There is a lot of thought into the small details with everything you might need, if you need it. Note, the coffee pod machine takes large pods. Good heating for the cold weather. Comfortable and cosy bed. Perfect to bring our small dog with a fully enclosed and secure fence, no gaps. Lots of equipment for outdoor activities in better weather or for those braver than us. We found the property quiet during the day and for sleeping. Dining is at the kitchen bench but outdoor eating would lovely. Thanks Fabienne, we will come again.

What a beautiful property and stunning location truely a great place to relax and unwind. Where do we start Fabienne has been an amazing host and we have been truely relaxed in this well appointed cottage a stone throw away from nature filled estuary. Amazing walks close to wedgetail brewery, beach and Miami bakery. We also loved just sitting on the porch and chilling out watching the birds and soaking in the sound of nature. To summarise cosy comfortable and content with a happy couple and canine !

We had the best time at this cute little cottage, it had everything we could possibly need and was neat and spotless. The books and games were well received as was the original arcade machine which was enjoyed by all. The cottage is in a fantastic location, right beside the beautiful estuary and a 40 minute walk to the ocean on the other side. We can highly recommend breakfast at the Falcon Bay Beach Cafe, it's dog friendly and serves delicious food and coffee. I accidently locked us out and Fabienne was quick to respond to my cry for help! (Note to others staying here - do not close the front door when you have left the key inside and the back door is locked!)We loved the addition of the doggy door which our pooch was happy to use. Overall 10/10 and we'd love to come back.

SPECTACULAR! This charming little cottage has everything! I stayed with my 2 children & 2 chihuahuas and from the moment we walked in, we felt held & nurtured! From the ample towels, beautifully decorated rooms and plush bedding, to the kitchen with everything you could possibly need! Air fryer, toastie maker, waffle maker, wifi, netflix, comfy couches. A lot of thought has gone in to making this cottage greet you with open arms! 5 star location, literally a few steps down to the sparkly estuary! If you love walking or cycling you’ll appreciate the beautiful scenic walk that stretches for kilometres along the estuary. Also boasts 2 jetties so bring your crab nets to drop in whilst your kids play on the park. Fabienne was very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Will absolutely stay again. Garden is secure for dogs even for the tiniest of escape artists!

Cosy by Name, Even Cosier by Nature!Beyond adorable and thoughtfully packed with comforts, this little cottage is a delight for the senses and a balm for the soul.Located on a corner, it feels wonderfully private—like you have no neighbours at all. It somehow feels larger than its cute size thanks to the beautiful views over the parkland and estuary.Perfect for best friends, the two bedrooms are almost identical in size so no one needs to compromise and giving you that extra bit of privacy. The beds are marshmallow-soft with the plushest doonas to snuggle into.The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the view and opens onto a lovely garden with a fire pit (which I, sadly, didn’t get to enjoy because of the rain). But sitting with a warm coffee on the porch, watching the rain fall, was a highlight in itself.There are two toilets—so the boys can leave the seat up and avoid the usual arguments—and a hot, steamy shower with a wide showerhead to soothe your shoulders after a bike ride with your friend along the estuary or a paddle in one of the 2 kayaks, all available to use for free.The lovely Host was super responsive, informative for any extra needs and easy to chat to making you feel super comfortable with your accommodation choice.All in all—cosy to the core.Simple. Superb. And absolutely worth booking.

It was a comfortable and wonderfully equipped little house. There was every comfort and the items provided were beyond belief right down to kayaks and bikes with helmets. More crockery and Utensils than I have at home. Would recommend this to anyone especially if you have a pet.

It was set up as an air BnB and living in Perth we decided to keep it as an air BnB. We spend as much time there as we can when it’s not booked to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We have discovered so many local places in Mandurah that we never expected such as great coffee shops, local breweries, local food ect …
