Hi, I’m Erin — a nature-loving, creative, health focused soul living with my husband and two dogs in the heart of Norfolk County. We live off the beaten path, surrounded by Carolinian Forest. Building our property into a peaceful escape, building our dream and expanding into off-grid stays like our cozy shipping container bunkies — with a forest treehouse rental coming soon!

I’m passionate about natural wellness, tallow soap/lotion-making, and creating a lifestyle rooted in simplicity, beauty, and balance. When I’m not working on our space, you’ll find me in the woods with our dogs, Winston and Gordie, spending time at the beach, cooking from scratch, or diving into research on health and longevity finding ways to live more simply and intentionally.

Being a host allows me to share the kind of environment I crave myself — grounded, quiet, and full of little moments that remind you what really matters. I hope this place brings you the same sense of calm and inspiration it brings to my family every day.

We chose this part of Norfolk County because it feels like a hidden gem — surrounded by Carolinian forest, peaceful trails, and quiet country roads that seem to slow everything down. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to birdsong, spot deer wandering through the woods, and end the day under a sky full of stars.

What we love most about this area is the feeling of space and stillness — it’s grounding. We’re close enough to charming small towns, local farm markets, and Lake Erie beaches to keep things interesting, but far enough removed to truly unplug and reconnect with nature.

It’s a special pocket of Ontario, and we feel lucky to call it home — and to share that experience with others.

Set on 74 acres of private Carolinian forest, our off-grid spaces offer a chance to fully unplug, breathe deep, and just be.

We’ve repurposed materials with care, built by hand with heart, and designed every space to blend into the natural surroundings — from the cozy shipping container bunkie to our hammock spots under the trees and the trails that wind through the woods.
