Welcome to your riverfront escape! Our newly renovated shack is set right on the Murray, just 10 minutes upstream from Mannum, and is designed with families and groups in mind. With six bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, two spacious living areas, and sweeping river views from the upstairs decks, it’s the perfect place to relax, play, and reconnect.

4 bedrooms (3 queen, 1 bunk room for 3), bathroom & toilet, fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining with games, DVDs & TV, large river deck with dining for 10, plus a rear deck with sunset lounge.

Downstairs:
2 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 singles), bathroom & toilet, laundry, kitchenette & lounge, and access to the undercover entertaining area.

Check-Out:
We ask guests to leave the shack tidy (do dishes, return red dishes downstairs, put rubbish in bins, and clean appliances used). Your cleaning fee is refundable if these are done.

This is a shack designed for family memories — whether you’re skiing and fishing, watching the kids play on the lawns, sharing pizza by the fire, or simply relaxing with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the Murray.

Perfect for our large family's river holiday. Beautiful views of the river and wonderful accessibility to the boat from the jetty for water activities while the well maintained, beautiful lawned area was where we spent a great deal of our time.Was very impressed with the supply of staples in the kitchen, provided by both the owners and previous guestsWe experienced extreme heat on one day of our stay and extreme wind the next which tested the amenities. The many rooms and activities passed the test, although the main airconditioner struggled to cope.One disappointment was the lack of a few things - the promised beach towels and usable darts for the dartboard among them. And while there was plastic drinkware available for wine, some glassware would have been appreciated.But they are minor things for a property at which we had a wonderful family time and would be keen to do so again. Thank you!

Good location, lovely dock and roomy. Close to Mannum to pop into for meals and shops. Could do with more forks, loo paper, replacement bin liners, teatowels and more than one cloth to wipe kitchen etc. But a nice place to stay all the same

Family get away

great property had a fantastic time. My only feedback would be that there needed to be better kitchen equipment (quality of knives large pot) extra toilet paper, cling wrap and garbage bags. There was only the garbage bag in the bin and no others that we could find.Don’t get me wrong you have a lovely place there on the river and we would defiantly stay again.Thanks for having us. The evans family

Great venue for friends and family long weekend

This was the perfect venue for Anzac weekend for a group of family and friends. Peaceful part of the river, away from the incessant jetskis, but still close enough to Mannum to duck into town for top-up supplies when required.Our dog loved running around the safely fenced front and back yards and enjoyed the weekend as much as we did! We made good use of the decked balcony to sit and while away lazy hours over shared food, conversation, and board games. Two kayaks provided a reason to get out on the water nice and early, and earn our breakfast. The house was very clean and well stocked. Thank you for a relaxing break!

My Husband Ralph 70th Birthday

Very impressed! Comfortable and clean. Ideal spot for the 5 grandson's (7yrs- 16yrs) 12of us all together. Didnt feel crowded. The boys enjoyed the fact they had their own downstairs loungeWhere they were able play their switch without annoying adults telling them to quieten down.Very safe for them to swim, fish and kayaking. Once they had their life jackets on they spent hours enjoying the river life, while we adults enjoyed sitting by the river watching them have fun. Very relaxing Lovely family holiday. Making great memories.The boys enjoyed the downstairs

Amazing!

We have stayed at many places on the river and this property is a new favourite. Lots of thoughtful touches, beautiful location and a lovely place. Great for a large group or two families. We will be back. The owners are also great communicators and were very understanding when we had to shuffle dates. Thank you!

Michelle and Steves place is the perfect spot for a quiet retreat on the river with family and friends. There are several comfortable areas to choose from for meals and lounging around, fabulous views and great amenities. Loved our stay!

Nice & relaxing

We enjoyed the fire drum on 2 nights. There was plenty of carp to catch as well as a few callop. The kitchen & dining area is excellent. The downstairs screen door is broken. In general the 11 of us had an excellent time.
