Enter the home via the stairs that lead to a spacious deck overlooking the heated pool and spa, complete with two seating areas, a dining table, and a four-burner propane grill—ideal for relaxing or entertaining as the sun sets over the water. The deck can be accessed both from the entrance and from the living room, allowing for easy indoor-outdoor living. Inside, the open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area offers a seamless blend of coastal charm and modern convenience, featuring a large flat-screen streaming TV, leather seating, and sliding glass doors that open back to the deck. The kitchen boasts granite countertops, updated appliances including a dishwasher, and a breakfast bar with five stools, while the dining table seats up to five guests. The primary suite, entered through elegant glazed French doors, includes a king bed, flat-screen TV, desk for remote work, and a spa-like ensuite with twin vanities, a tub/shower combo, and a large walk-in closet. Two guest bedrooms provide plenty of options: one with a twin daybed and trundle plus a desk, and another with a full bed, dresser, closet, and smart TV; a guest bathroom with a tub/shower combo serves them both. Outside, the tropical-inspired pool area can be reached from the deck or exterior gate and is the perfect spot to soak up the island vibe, while the lower-level recreation room offers a freezer, poker table, and a full bathroom with walk-in shower for rinsing off after a day in the sun. With its Gulf-facing views, versatile living spaces, heated pool and spa, and all the comforts of home, 5550 Palmetto Palms is the ultimate Fort Myers Beach escape for families, friends, or anyone seeking an unforgettable coastal getaway. This property accommodates parking for a maximum of 4 vehicles. Following hurricanes Ian, Milton, and Helene, guests should anticipate ongoing construction throughout the island. We had a wonderful stay at 5550 Palmetto Paradise. The home was beautiful, spotless, and exactly as pictured—always a relief when expectations match reality.One of our favorite unexpected highlights was the view of the gulf from the deck. It made for peaceful mornings with a cup of tea while watching for dolphins—such a special touch that isn’t emphasized enough in the listing.The pool and spa area were stunning and very well maintained. We loved how easy it was to control the spa temperature. Another detail we appreciated was the full propane tank for the grill—something not always guaranteed at rentals.Beach access was a short, easy walk, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The welcome supplies (dish soap, laundry tabs, shampoo, etc.) made settling in simple.We didn’t mind the limited nearby dining options since we enjoyed grilling and maximizing pool time together. The extra bathroom/shower on the pool level was also very convenient.Only small suggestion: a few more plastic cups to discourage glass near the pool. Overall, a fantastic stay—we’d absolutely return!
