Blue Heron Cove Lakehouse in the Ozarks

Spacious 4700 sq ft lakefront home on beautiful Lake Avalon in Bella Vista. Perfect for large families or groups with 5 seperate bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and two large living areas with woodburning fireplaces. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, hiking, or mountain biking right off your private dock or out your front door. The Beach at Lake Avalon is just a short 5 minute walk away. You can also hop on/hop off the Little Sugar mountain biking trail just down from the house.

The main living area is on the top floor with living room and woodburning fireplace, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a full deck.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances including refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and blender. A full complement of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware is included.

The lower level has an additional living room with woodburning fireplace, 3 bedrooms, two kids rooms, another bathroom and a large patio. There is also a separate laundry room with a new washer & dryer.

The house has high speed internet and wifi throughout. 6 televisions with full cable (including ESPN), Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus are provided for guests. Downstairs includes Ping Pong and Xbox.

Linens, bedding, towels, toiletries and firewood are all provided.

Enjoy swimming, fishing, and kayaking off your private dock. The home has plenty of storage for your vehicle, bikes, and other toys. Note the fireplaces are open for guest use from October through March.

Located minutes from I-49, check out all the Northwest Arkansas has to offer from mountain bike trails (go to oztrailsnwa) to playing golf at one of 6 courses in Bella Vista, world class Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Momentary Contemporary Art Museum.

12 of us ( 3 generations) spent the week in thus lovely home. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place and a better host experience. Lovely mornings on the shaded deck watching the deer. Relaxing evenings on the screened in porch. Game nights in the spacious downstairs family room. Plenty of kitchen and dining space. Kids enjoyed kayaking in the cove. Spent time at the public beach and one of the area pools. Wonderful relaxing vacation. I might suggest adding some mirrors to the bedrooms since the only mirrors are in the bathrooms.

The house was as advertised. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The kitchen was fully equipped. The living areas were very spacious for our family of 9 that stayed here. We were able to truly enjoy our time together as a family with the house. The lake was a little different, the walk down to it was fairly difficult and as such, we never took our kids down to swim or fish as we had hoped. The water was very dirt (it diid clean up a little before we left). There was a tremendous amount of debris in the water which would make swimming or kyaking dangerous. We were really disappointed with not being able to use the lake as this is why we chose this property. We did get to use the pool in Bella Vista and very reasonably priced. We had a minor issue with plumbing but it was resolved very quickly. Communication with the host was excellent.

Great Location for Bella Vista Golf

Great house for a big group to stay. We played all of the Bella Vista courses. This house was close to them and provided a nice relaxing place to hangout when the golf was done. Owner was very communicative. Would definitely stay again.

Home was better than advertised. Plenty of room for a larger family with several adults. The layout was perfect and the home was comfortable. The only complaint was that the beds had not been cleaned under for quite some time so fishing things that had slid under there was a little sketchy. The toilets also needed some good scrubbing but nothing too bad. Communication was amazing and all in all we were very happy with our stay and would stay again!

Was good layout for family. Hard to get to dock and tree down by dock so unable to swim like we wanted. But Avalon Beach was close so we went there instead.

To start, we were unpacking and the owner of the property came to introduce himself. Very nice! Went inside and the home is immaculate, beautiful and the location is amazing! Could not have asked for anything more. Will definitely visit here again.

Family getaway

We normally have a family reunion trip in Branson every year in September. The golf costs have gotten outrageous there so we decided to try NWA this year. We could not have asked for a more amazing place for our fun! The men enjoyed the beautiful golf courses that are minutes from the home, and the girls and kids enjoyed the shopping and sites so close. Managers checked in several times during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We will stay here again soon!

Christmas Vacation

Loved the house it was in a beautiful setting. The windows were very nice and you could see different views from each set. The fireplace was a nice addition as was the snow, don’t know how he arranged that. We had one little problem with the clothes dryer and that was taken care of almost within the hour. Just an all around great stay.

Great stay!

House was roomy! Porches have beautiful views. It was nasty weather so we didn’t get to use the dock, but it was nice to have. Many more dishes and seasonings than I normally see in a rental. Only things to consider, drive way is very steep and one 2wd car that was there had problems getting up with the weather. Hosts were responsive and made every effort to accommodate any request I had.

Amazing Lake Getaway!

This property was amazing for our large family, only made better by the amazing host! We enjoyed all aspects of the home but most, especially the screened in porch - It was an absolute delight. The walk down to the dock is rather treacherous, but once you get there, it is peaceful and a great place to fish. The house had all the amenities you would need for cooking, Laundry, Games for the family, Lifejackets… Etc.. We spent a week here as a family of 11 and couldn’t have had a more enjoyable time!

Golf outing

This was a great location for our golf outing, close to all the courses we were playing. The guys loved having their own rooms. we were very comfortable with this stay and are talking about making this trip a couple of times a year. Only down side is it sleeps 14 but only has 7 forks to eat with. we had other friends over for dinner and was short on the eating utensils. Thanks

Family Reunion Size Lakehouse of Comfort & Fun

This is a wonderful home that is very clean, spacious, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, excellent mattresses, well furnished and they even provide fishing poles, kayaks and life jackets!! There were 4 couples staying here for our family reunion and the home was plenty large to allow quiet space for all while accommodating as well for fun times in the large living room and on the two back decks to watch tv, play games, read and just hang out & chat. The fishing dock was awesome as well for a gathering place to fish and kayak and then the ping pong table on the lower level of the home became quite a popular spot as well! The only challenge is the driveway since we had 4 vehicles but we made it work to fit them all. What a great place!

Lake Avalon

Good location on Lake Avalon, roomy house and comfy beds. Advertises 2 kayaks and a pedal boat but they do not have the current Bella Vista stickers so you cannot take them on the lake. There are no paddles for the kayaks. The property had to be vacuumed and the decks and outdoor furniture had to be cleaned by us. Broken toilet seat we had to replace no reimbursement Sugar ant problem in the kitchen Property manager was extremely rude when I discussed the issues on the phone.

I’m sorry for your experience at lakehouse. As noted in the other reviews, we’ve never had a guest make these types of complaints before. As I told you separately, in 28 years of owning property in Bella Vista, our equipment has always been registered with the POA and currently is. Stickers are often torn off during guest use and we will obtain new stickers to ensure no issues. But all equipment is registered and no guest has ever had an issue with the lake patrol. Both kayaks had paddles before your arrival but could not find them after you left. We’ve replaced them. As for the outdoor furniture, at your request we allowed you to check into the house 8 hours early (8am) - the earliest we’ve ever allowed for early check in. We cleaned the furniture the day before and would have cleaned again just before check in - except you were already staying in the house already and we could not. We have not found any ants or other bugs in the house before or after your stay and no other guest has ever made this suggestion. As I told you directly, for all of these issues and any others, we provide 24/7 contact information for guests to call and we’d immediately respond. You never called. Instead you supposedly made your own repairs or purchased items that were either not broken or we could have immediately fixed then asked us to pay you. I’m sorry again for your experience.
