Beach Front Architectural Home
Our Golden Bay beachfront home is a contemporary coastal getaway, perfectly placed opposite a lush park and playground, with the beach and sparkling Indian Ocean only a short stroll away via the sand dune tracks. Created for families and groups, this elegant retreat offers a generous sense of space and comfort throughout. Relax in the expansive landscaped garden featuring an outdoor shower and BBQ area for an inviting place to unwind after a day by the sea.
The beach boasts pristine sand, crystal clear water and a wide sandbank, making it ideal for swimming, surfing and fishing for all ages. Nearby you’ll find plenty of options for water sports and outdoor adventure. The park across the road features a modern playground and BBQ facilities, while Pirate Cove, a favourite with kids, is just a five-minute walk north along the beach or road.
The local area offers great food choices, including a cosy café and classic fish and chips within easy walking distance. A selection of wineries is also only a short drive away.
Whether you’re after a laid-back beach day or action-packed fun, this destination caters for everyone. Come and enjoy the natural beauty and calm of this coastal gem.
Guests have full access to the property, excluding the garage.
Having a car is ideal, though public transport is convenient, with a bus stop just a few hundred metres up Dampier Drive, providing easy access to Perth CBD, Mandurah, and Rockingham.

A quick note about payments on Vrbo
Sometimes Vrbo shows a booking as confirmed even if the payment hasn’t gone through yet. If this happens, we’ll reach out so you can re-try the payment. Until it’s completed, the booking isn’t fully secured, so please action any payment requests promptly. Thanks so much for your understanding and we’re looking forward to hosting you!
House Etiquette:
1. Treat the property like it is your own home.
2. Check over the house and garden when you arrive and advise of any problems.
3. Ensure all lights, TVs, fans, heaters, and aircon are switched off when leaving or away from the house to reduce energy use.
a. Please note the outdoor lights along the front wall of the property, turn on and off automatically.
4. No loud music after 10 pm to maintain a good relationship with neighbors.
5. Dispose of garbage and recycling in the allocated trash cans and recycling bins. Bin day is Saturday and recycling is every fortnight.
6. We have limited rubbish disposal, the bins are collected on Saturday. If there isn`t space in the property bin. Please dispose of any rubbish in the park bins across the road.
Laundry:
7. Linen has been provided for every bed. Please do not take any linen home with you.
8. Bath towels have been provided for every guest. Do not take any towels home with you. The bath towels are not to be taken to the beach. Please provide your own beach towels.
Security:
9. When away from the house, ensure all windows and doors are properly shut and locked. Properly arm the security alarm, the alarm code will be provided when you collect the keys.
10. The external driveway gate and the pedestrian gate should be kept closed when away.
a. Please note the driveway gate is electrically operated using the code on the wall pad.
Damages:
11. Be responsible for damage sustained to the house and its furnishings during your stay.
12. Report all severe damage as soon as practicable in case there needs to be an insurance claim.
When leaving:
13. Make sure the property is left clean and tidy.
14. Please ensure all property keys are returned.
