I have stayed at many properties and this one is the favorite of all. The house is in a great location with a great view, very homey and comfortable. The area is very quiet. Just a fantastic stay overall.

The place was absolutely amazing. The beds weee comfortable, bathrooms were clean and stocked well. The host was great and the neighbors were friendly. Great little hideaway, we will be back for sure.

A fantastic spot! Easy communication with our host. All of our needs were met. Great kitchen, comfy beds good gathering space for our tribe. Just beautiful. Love the s’mores and bonfire. The outdoor lakeside space is gorgeous and perfect for bbq and outdoor dining. Thank you!

We loved our stay in Oxford. The house was great and the property was so nice with the sandy beach and dock. This was one of the best equipped houses we have rented. We had all the necessities and some nice extras. We visited downtown Oxford which had shops, breweries and restaurants. Nice golf courses and a great park with a splash pad (so much fun for our toddler) were nearby. Craig was a wonderful host and would love to stay again.

Great location. We were golfing so perfect location for what we were doing. Craig was excellent to deal with and very accommodating. The town close by was very nice with lots of restaurants. All around good stay.

The perfect lake house!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Easy check in. Perfectly clean and well decorated. Good layout and amentities. Nice sandy beach with dock. Great firepit looking out onto the lake. Everything about the stay was perfect. Would highly recommend.

It was beautiful and peaceful

Beautiful lakefront property

Modern, clean home with everything we needed for a great stay in Michigan. Craig and neighbor Jim very accommodating and helpful. Good fishing off the dock. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

3 days of perfection

We had a wonderful stay in this immaculate modern home on a lake, complete with two kayaks, marshmallows to toast in the fire pit, and beautiful sunsets. Kris and Craig made everything easy, and the house itself couldn't have been better. Would definitely return for more!

Peaceful and spacious, with a lovely sandy beach and lake

The lake home is recently built, new appliances and fixtures, spacious, and light-filled. Very clean! Great views of the lake, and house is comfortably close to the lake, with a small but very nice sandy beach that leads directly into the lake - perfect for toddlers and their parents. Peaceful and quiet, as it is on a dead-end road.

Best VRBO ever!

Hands down the best VRBO experience. Communication was incredibly quick and responsive. The house is SPOTLESS. This is incredibly important aspect for my family. Kitchen has everything you need. There is not one thing I could change or suggest. Jim next door is so helpful as well. We have 3 teen daughters and the extra full bathrooms upstairs was a live saver. We will 100% be booking again next year. A true 5 star property.

Nice Lake House

My husband and I stayed with our adult daughter who lives in Waterford, MI. We own a lake house in Florida and because our daughter misses it, we decided to rent a lake house for our vacation visit to see her. The location was great; close to all the places our daughter wanted to take us. The house was well appointed with bedding, blankets, towels, kitchen items. It was nice to have a garage as well. We enjoyed the fire pit many times during our visit. We just wish the neighbor with the yappy dog would take better care of it and not keep it outside barking away during the evenings when we were trying to enjoy the serene setting. The resident swan was a nice surprise and not a nuisance at all. We enjoyed waiting for her to peacefully glide by morning and evenings. The home was very clean and ready for our visit. It was plenty large for the three of us. The living area was strange but large and could have accommodated more seating choices for larger guests. My bad, I thought there was a fireplace. Well there is, only you can’t use it. It would have been nice to use as most of our days and nights were very cold for these Florida guests. There were three photos of the fireplace so I assumed it was operational. It was not. These photos should be removed from the listing or state in the copy that the fireplace is not to be used. Craig was great. Very communicative.

This place was so beautiful! It was such a nice spot for a weekend getaway. It was peaceful and having the lake right in your backyard is just fantastic. The host was very kind. We will definitely be back!

Exactly what we wanted

This was exactly what we wanted. It was a quite place to relax, eat, and enjoy the lake. Craig made the process dead simple and was very responsive. The thing I noticed the most, out of all the house rentals I have ever done, is that the property was well stocked with commodities an linens. There was plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, trash bags, and towels. We bought a bunch of products to prepare for not having these basic items, but I really appreciate the small touch to making these available. It’s incredibly frustrating to try to cram trash for five people for several days into the single trash bag provided, so this was a nice change of pace to have all we needed. The place was great and the process was easy. Would definitely do it again.

Our home is located on a quiet street between 2 of a chain of 5 lakes. You will rarely go a minute without seeing a crane, duck, goose, or swan float by. One of the best fishing spots is right off the dock on the property.
All 5 lakes allow motorized boats. You will mostly see pontoon boats. The no wake time from 9pm until 8am,
It's peaceful here. You will find the neighbors to be kind and helpful. I would consider it very safe. I lived in the home for the first few years after I built it, and I never locked the doors...even when I traveled for work.
This is a great place to go to relax and recharge
