Our stay was excellent. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and had a cozy, homey feel. Its location just a minute from Folly Beach made it even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again.

Cozy beach house

Had a great stay for a long weekend. Block away from beach access. Was the perfect place for our family and the owners were very responsive when we had questions. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at the Upper Hideaway!The home was clean, beautifully furnished with everything one would need! Kitchen was well appointed, had needed supplies to get started and all was in newer condition. Beds in 2 primaries were oh so comfy! Bathrooms were clean and host provided toiletries and towels. Communication with the host was great! They provided detailed info and were available when a small issue arose. This home is located so close to the beach - it was an easy 3 minute walk to the access. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to others. Thank you for a lovely place to stay for our vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Upper Hideaway on Folly Beach, in Charleston. The place was spacious and the two master bedrooms (and bathrooms) provided extra places to dress and shower that was a great help. The furnishing were quite nice and the kitchen was well-equipped for multiple uses. We especially appreciated the welcome bottle of wine and the delicious key lime cookies! The beach was so close and it was fun to be able to walk only about 2 minutes to walk on the beach and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Also of note, the property is only a few minutes from shops and restaurants. The property owners gave very timely recommendations re. restaurants and places to visit, and gave very detailed instructions about the property, well in advance of our stay. Thanks very much for a wonderful vacation on Folly Beach!

The only problem we had wasn't the owners fault I assume. We were without electricity in 2 of the rooms. One night one room the next the other master room after we wasted half a day's vacation waiting on the electrician. They were very quick to answer and even offered to have the electrician come back the next day and they would wait on them so we wouldn't have to change our plan's. I would recommend them. They also left a sweet note and treats for us upon arrival. I would definitely rent again. Very nice owners and you could tell they cared. Thank you a great vacation. Hopefully see you next year.

Perfect stay in Folly Beach!

We loved our stay in Folly Beach! The unit was spacious for 4 people to be able to spread out and have their own room. We loved that there were two master bed/baths -kind of hard to come by in a lot of places! The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook at home some days while being close enough to restaurants to grab dinner other nights. Being one block from the beach was a huge plus! We had a wonderful trip with our family, thank you!
