Cozy Apartment in Dartmouth

A serene, furnished & well-stocked basement apartment with its own entrance for complete privacy. Brand new (as of April 2026) kitchenette, shower, dishwasher, Sealy Postpurepedic queen mattress, 75-inch smart TV, & fridge/freezer. A commercial-grade treadmill. Just 1 km away from the beautiful Bissett Lake and the Cole Harbour Heritage Park (~8 km of trails). A 10-minute drive to the gorgeous Rainbow Haven Beach. Close to restaurants, spas & malls. 1 bedroom & 1 den for a maximum of 2 guests.

The space
Living Area: Relax and enjoy a cinematic experience with a 75-inch Samsung Smart TV, while taking in the ambiance of the electric fireplace.

Dedicated Workstation: Need to get some work done? There is a dedicated work desk, a typing keyboard, and a monitor for your use. A paper shredder is also available.

Den: A well-decorated and cozy den with a Sealy Posturepedic Plus queen mattress. There is a moderate closet space for your stuff (not a walk-in closet). The bed also has storage underneath the mattress. A 43-inch Samsung Smart 4K TV is also provided in the room, in case you just want to lie in and enjoy some of your favorite shows. A full-sized mirror is available in addition to the half mirror in the washroom.

Bedroom: A simple bedroom with a twin bed provides additional sleeping or storage space for you. There is also a mini-library in this room (books can be read but not taken away).

Internet: High-speed internet available at no added cost.

Kitchenette: Prepare light meals with a 2-burner induction cooktop (no conventional oven), a rice cooker, a giant over-the-range (OTR) microwave, a toaster, electric kettle, and a Ninja double-brew coffee maker. All utensils (pans, pots, cups, cutlery, knives, weighing scale, bottle opener, cutting board, roller pin, etc.) are provided. A newly installed dishwasher and double sink are also provided. Also provided are some cooking condiments: salt, olive oil, seasonings, and coffee to help you settle in.

Dining Area: Four bar-height chairs and a dining table, with a full French-style double-door fridge/freezer in the background.

Bathroom: A newly installed shower (no tub) with a hair dryer, toothpaste, toothbrush, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, toilet paper, towels, facecloths, Q-tips, hand soap, air freshener, etc.

Laundry: Separate washer and dryer just for your use (not shared), with detergent provided. An ironing board and an electric iron are also provided.

Treadmill (Shared): Keep fit while here with us. A commercial-grade NordicTrack treadmill for your indoor exercise at no additional cost. The treadmill will be shared with us.

Library: A mini-library is provided, at no additional cost.

Guest access
- Self check-in with smart lock (we are also available should you need help with access).
- Private side access (no stairs) and shared front access (with one flight of stairs).
- One free parking spot available (please inform the host in advance).
- Lots of free street parking directly in front of the property on the quiet street.
- The entire basement apartment is for your use.
- Access to the upstairs residential area or the back deck is not permitted.

Other things to note
- 3-day minimum stay.
- Strictly for a maximum of two (2) guests.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- No pets are allowed.
- Only registered guests are allowed on the property. No visitors at any time.

- Smoking, vaping, or using any kind of drugs (including cannabis) is strictly prohibited anywhere inside or around the property.

- Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM, respecting local ordinances, our neighbours, and ensuring a peaceful stay for everyone.

- No loitering on the street. It is a family-friendly and quiet neighbourhood.

- Downloading of copyrighted or illegal content is prohibited. Violations may result in termination of your stay without refund.

- Due to the lack of sufficient safety and child-friendly facilities, we are unable to accommodate guests with children under 12.

- The kitchenette has a ventilation hood, but we kindly ask that you avoid overloading it with excessive heat or smoke generation.

- The electric panel for the entire house is located inside the basement living room (beside the fridge). In rare cases, such as an emergency, we may need to access the space to reset the breaker or wi-Fi router, but rest assured we will inform you before entry.

- Each time a guest checks in, the bed linens will be changed and the room will be thoroughly cleaned. If a guest stays longer than 7 days and requests a linen change, we will change the linens and clean the room free of charge. If the guest requests daily or 2-3 days linen changes and/or room cleaning, an additional fee of $30 per change will apply.
