Overall, we had a nice stay and the house itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The community was also beautiful, quiet, and a great place for our family.There were a couple of issues that kept this from being a 5-star experience. The listing stated that six pool passes were included, but only five were available when we arrived. I was eventually able to get the sixth pass, but only after reaching out multiple times and following up instead of it being resolved proactively.We also discovered that mice had gotten into the pantry and chewed through several of our food items, resulting in most of our food having to be thrown away. The owner apologized and let us know that an exterminator would be coming after our stay rather than during because we had small children and treatment could involve chemicals or poison. However, we were disappointed that the damaged food was never acknowledged and there was no offer to reimburse or otherwise address the loss.Despite those issues, we still enjoyed our time and thought the home and neighborhood were very nice. With better attention to the guest experience when unexpected issues arise, this would be an excellent rental.
