Welcome to Tabby Shack SSI! Escape to the charming southern town of Saint Simons Island while staying in our 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, blending easy comfort with beachy vibes providing a sense of home within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, and fun.

Tabby Shack SSI is a newly remodeled beach house on the south-end of the island. Enjoy the best of what Saint Simons Island has to offer!

***Memorial Day through mid-August as well as most holidays require a minimum of 7-night rental; Saturday-to-Saturday.***

The space
You enter the Tabby Shack with brightly colored door and shutters to find a custom made entryway with baskets to store your shoes, hooks for your coats, bags, and towels, shelves for your grab and take items, and a bench to get yourself ready to enjoy a day out on the island. Leave your stress at the door to kick-off your holiday right.

From the entry, you’ll find the heart of the house with an open concept living/dining/kitchen space. The living room is designed to bring you together with your fellow travelers as the central space for your vacation. You will find more than ample seating with a large sectional couch to enjoy each other, a board game, or even a movie on the new 4K large screen TV. If you are looking to break away from the pack, take a seat in the cozy chairs by the fireplace and windows where you can read a book or enjoy a drink of your choice.

Through the living room, you will see the dining area. Enough seating for eight (8) between a large table and the granite breakfast bar area on the kitchen peninsula. Fall in love with the plantation shutters allowing you to control the light and set the mood for your meals. Our favorite use of this space is as the location of many laughs and smiles over one of the many board games provided with the house.

The dining area opens to our well-stocked kitchen where any chef would be excited…high-end Samsung appliances, new tabletop serving ware for entertaining, and the all the basics for your stay. The floor plan allows the chef or chefs to prepare meals or a quick snack while never being away from the fun in the rest of the home. Tabby Shack SSI has a full-sized washer and dryer in the utility room.

Back through the living room, you will find the hallway connecting the living space to the sleeping quarters. The first door on the right is the Master Suite. Relax in the private bedroom with a new king bed, ample storage with a dresser and walk-in-closet. No master bedroom is complete without a newly renovated en-suite bathroom with a dual vanity and luxurious shower. A perfect start or end to your day.

Following the hallway to the front of the house, you will find two (2) bedrooms. The first guest room is appointed with a comfortable queen bed complete with walk-in closet, dresser, and southern facing windows with the same plantation shutters found in the rest of the house for your friends and family to spread out in their own space. The third and final bedroom offers the same amenities as the second guest room with twin beds. The main bathroom for the house has a tub/shower combo, plenty of storage, and has also been renovated.

Moving to the yard, the side patio is your access point to our outdoor living spaces. The patio is ready for your enjoyment. Furnished with a gas BBQ grill, outdoor dining, and nature. This is the perfect spot to prepare the catch of the day from your fishing trip or your famous BBQ. Oh and we have outdoor games, too! Challenge each other to giant Jenga or Connect 4 while enjoying the outdoors. Throughout the day, take-in the morning sun or relax in the afternoon shade.
