The condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a beautiful view of the regions mountains, and all the conveniences of your own home. When you walk into the condo you will find the bright kitchen filled with everything you will need to make cooking during your stay easy. The kitchen opens up to the dining and living area that leads to a beautiful view of the regions mountains. The master bedroom is filled with a King size bed and connected to a master bath. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and is conveniently located next to the second bathroom.

Close to Overlook barn wedding venue, Fred's Mercantile, Dining options and Beech mountain Ski Resort. Beech Mountain has fabulous Hiking trails, mountain biking, dog park, skiing in the winter and scenic lift rides in the summer to the top of the mountain and 5506 sky bar. Enjoy the cool weather and mountain breezes with some of the most breathtaking view. Beech Mountain is American highest town in the east.

Overlook at Southcrest is located in the beautiful town of Beech Mountain, NC.  Beech Mountain is the highest town in the Eastern United States sitting at 5500.'  Travelers enjoy the cool summers, snowy winters & beautiful fall leaves when they partake in a plethora of outdoor activities. The condo is conveniently located in the heart of Beech Mountain, .2 miles from Overlook Barn, .7 miles from the Beech Mountain resort shuttle & 1 mile from Fred's General Store.

The view from the condo was great. You can see the sun come up over the mountains from the porch. The condo was cozy and clean, and the area was nice and quiet.

The photos were NOT accurate - but in a great way!!! Beautiful sunrises, sunsets - just amazing Mountain Views and even seeing Sugar Mtn in the distance. Every morning I enjoyed coffee on the balcony and we saw several deer that were not skittish around my presence.I did contact the property owner/manager and to say she was engaging and fast in response is an understatement. The “accuracy” being only 4 stars was not a negative, I only had 4 so she can update the things in inventory because we brought more than we needed - it was already there! For example the photos looked like a coffee pot, but there was a Keurig there. Not a problem, we just had grinds and filters - but there were plenty of cups for our needs. Hot water: we never ran out. Warm and cozy, so close to everything, it was quiet, plenty of parking, we really felt like we were in our own little world and would stay any time we returned to the area.

Great place to stay, very close to skiing at Beech, also close to eating places. Loved the deer right out the back door. Diane was great to work with.

We enjoyed our stay very much-condo was clean, cozy, with extras such as coffee pods and hot cocoa packets. The extras like a spare new toothbrush saved our first night there as our daughter had forgotten hers. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place that felt like home

This condo was perfect. Extremely clean and very well maintained. Great location and excellent views. It’s obvious that the owner takes pride in making this condo feel like home. Perfect for a family getaway. We would absolutely stay here again.

Beech Mountain Ski vacay

Excellent property to get away. Easy driving distance to slopes. Sleeps four adults very comfortably. Well stocked to eat in and very easy to check in. Owner contact was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. Only issue was the private road going to it. If snow or ice, 4WD or chains resolve that but they warned us about that so no surprise.

Sweet gem on Beech!

Loved our week stay at the condo. Very well accommodated and had all the comforts of home. The view was stunning and we were thrilled to see deer right outside our balcony. Owners were quick to assist us with some minor issues. It was also great to be walking distance from restaurants and Fred's General store since our rental car couldn't make it out of the community (we were slipping with the snow/ice - scary!). The children did enjoy experiencing snow for the first time. I recommend this little gem up in the mountain!

Lovely

Very lovely place, perfect for a relaxing get away. Diane was great!!! We got greeted with a wine bottle, place was spotless, very comfortable bed and nice balcony view. Next time we come we will choose a second floor property so we wont hear the upstairs neighbors footsteps, and the front door jammed a couple of times, but overall I’ll give it a 5 star!! We really enjoyed our time in beech mountain, thank you so much

Perfect "home away from home"

The photos don't do this place justice. It is a truly well-appointed, cozy mountain getaway. It is located in a safe and peaceful area, only a short drive to skiing, hiking, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed beautiful views from the balcony. The condo was clean and comfortable. All appliances were well-maintained, and we had no issues with the Wi-Fi. Diane has an eye for detail, and we appreciated her helpful instructions on how to work the fireplace, TV, and the little labels on the light switches. We absolutely loved this place!

Super clean

We're at Beech several times per year. Excellent experience; best so far. Very clean and has everything to feel like you're at home. Great location on the mountain as well. Note that Google will drop you about a mile from the unit with little to go on and cell coverage is minimal, so pay attention to the extra instructions to get to the unit. Took us a few minutes to sort that out.

In town for wedding at Overlook Barn.

So enjoyed the comfort and coziness of this condo. Stayed at the Pinnacle a couple of years ago. This is definitely my “go to” now for future visits in the area. All the comforts of home!! One suggestion would be to have more than just regular cable for those who aren’t familiar with Roku. However not a game changer for us obviously.
