Great location to Beech Mountain. The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were added bonuses and kept us warm during the very cold and windy weekend in late December.

Beautiful getaway

We enjoyed the cooler temperatures and beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. The condo was a perfect place to relax. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and quiet walks around the establishment. We hope to come back again soon. Thank you for sharing your hike with us!

College Visit

The property is conveniently located to Banner Elk and only minutes away from Beech Mountain Resort. The condo has everything you need, is very clean, and offers great amenities.

The condo was overall quite comfortable. The only real downside was the parking lot view. The building the condo was located and could use some freshening up. Better lighting in the living area for reading would be appreciated.

The apartment was clean and organized. While the building in this neighborhood are aging a bit, the recreation center is full of activities including an indoor pool, ping pong table, a whirpool, and two saunas. You can borrow sport equipment like a basketball or a mini-golf clubs from the rental office. Beech mountain is the perfect place to get away from the summer heat.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. At the Beach Mountain Resort, we had a great time skiing. After skiing, we were able to enjoy swimming in the indoor pool, as well as relaxing in the steam and dry saunas. What we loved most about this property was its cleanliness—we truly appreciated how clean everything was. The kitchen was also fully equipped, which made our stay even more convenient. My kids especially enjoyed the hot chocolate that was already prepared for us. Thank you for everything! We will probably come back again next spring break.

Very nice condo

Nice and comfortable condo, we enjoyed the deck and the mountain views. Place was clean and comfortable. There’s a general store and a pizza place within walking distance. Food Lion is only 4 miles away. The owners were very nice and responded immediately with any questions I had. We stayed for a wedding at the Overlook Barn and it was only a 5 minute drive away. The condo has an indoor pool, jacuzzi and game room so that was a nice plus.

Convenient Location

Enjoyed the stay, thank you. Only two changes I would make:. 1) I would recommend stocking the kitchen a bit more to make it more suitable for eating in (e.g. pizza cutter, soup ladle, plastic cups for kids, Tupperware/Containers with lids for leftovers, auto can opener, etc). And 2) The dryer takes over two hours to dry a normal load - I was trying to take care of that but couldn’t do it all in the time I had!

Nice Place, Good Locale, Beautiful Area

Getting up to Beech Mtn is a challenge on the steep winding roads but worth it for the awesome views, hiking trails and skiing. Accessing the Pinnacle Inn resort and the unit is easy once in Beech Mtn township. The resort is conveniently located near local pubs, restaurants and attractions. Its typically used by skiers in winter, hikers in summer and leaf gazers in fall, and gets busy on weekends. Walking down past the dog park and into town is easy and makes for great views of the ski slopes and surrounding vistas. The resort campus is pleasant, generally well maintained but showing its age. It could use a makeover and minor improvements to freshen the curb appeal. The rental condo is a cozy, 1st floor, corner unit. Its nicely appointed with modern amenities that will work for a couple or small family. The decor is modern, pleasant and neutral. The rooms and deck are small, space is limited so be prepared for a lot of togetherness. The galley kitchen has small appliances and full size frig. Cooking large elaborate meals for a group will be a challenge here but small simple meals were easy to do. We noted a few minor housekeeping and maintenance issues in the unit that can easily be remedied. We brought them to the owners attention and they were very receptive, indicating they would be addressed quickly. I would recommend this rental for couple(s) that enjoy outdoor activities and want a cozy condo as a base camp to settle into after a day of mtn fun.
